  1. I can't believe everyone here actually takes their good car to Marion?!? My car never goes near shopping centres, or any other dodgy area for that fact... that is what the barina is for
  2. Does the GT badge have a blue backgroud or a red background? How to tell a Turbo from Non turbo from the outside..... on the R33 this is, Turbo - 5 Stud - GT Badge has a red background - Sticker on rear reads GTS25T Non-Turbo - 4 Stud - GT Badge has a blue backgroud - Sticker on rear reads GTS25
  3. Oops I used the wrong username .. here we go much better *cough* 108
  4. Anyone else on here played EvE before?
  5. Far out.. certainly looks like it can get expensive owning a car over there. Is there any truth to the statement people sometimes mention that if your car is over a certain age they charge more to keep it on the road?
  6. You mean a one sided thrashing John
  7. How does the "car tax" work in Japan?.. I have always wanted to know. I have heard all the rumours but no one over here really seems to know. I tried searching but the search tool seems to be buggered
  8. I generally find if you are not doing the wrong thing you will not get pulled over. Well that is my experience, I was speeding down anzac years ago and got pulled over and defected (in a stock commodore).... that was my fault for being a tool. I have since then owned several imports and yet to be pulled over as I now drive responsible.
  9. Hey that was you two weeks ago sunday (about 6 ish) going northbound on Portrush road? (came out of Mobil)... think you were following me for a while... I was in the blue MKIII Supra.
  10. There main target is country roads....... not the city. Anyway just letting everyone know , nothing more
  11. Yep was the top story on the news last night. Even off duty Police are being recalled to do overtime (from what they said).
  12. There is going to be a massive police presence this long weekend (up to 8x the normal level). I would highly suggest against a cruise **hint hint**
  13. I'd say D1 Garage for sure. I have brought a number of things from them and have no complaints so far.
  14. Fair enough Black32.. I do remember that happening, but was it John who did it or someone else at TT... there is a reason John did not want to work there anymore.... Me not much... working and more working Yep car is a good substitute, though it seems to also be an endless money pit lol. Other than that all is good, oh and if anyone here is the toolhead magna driver that decided to tailgate me with high beams on up chandlers hill tonight then F U u stupid fool.
  15. Hey Noz , long time no talk . My gripe is there was no explanation given, just bad feedback with no substance provided.
  16. I Had my rotors replaced (supplied by me) and full service done by HighTech recently... They went over the car and gave me honest advice on things that may need attention, they went above and beyond what I would normally expect from a service. I drove out of the workshop feeling confident I got what I paid for. The price was very good also IMO. These are my opinions and mine only, I speak for no one else. Bl4cK32 This forum is not the same as it used to be with people like you on it, atleast have some balls to backup your claims instead of posting useless bs.
  17. Awesome!! , that is perfect, you the man. Gotta get it done before the April cruise
  18. Anyone know a good place in town that can do this? prefer the CBD area due to working in the city. Cheers, Rob.
  19. yep count me and the g/f in.
  20. Ahh, sorry I don't know anyone there anymore, I lived there whilst I was in the Army so I lived on the Army base
  21. Why are you going to Toowoomba Matt?... I lived there for about a year... its an... interesting place
  22. sigh ... Them = imports Oh wait you were just trying to make yourself look good?... nice
  23. why? Just don't do anything wrong and drive normally + stay out of known hot spots. Act like a d#ck head and pay the price... simple as that. I have had a Skyline and this is my second Supra, I have never been pulled over in them. The only time I ever got pulled over was because I was driving like an idiot down Anzac Highway, and that was in a stock Executive Commodore. Was a while ago now but that is what happens when u do stupid things in very public area's.
  24. You can buy direct replacement rotors ... bit over $200 for a front set, direct bolt on no mods required. www.dba.com.au (Disc Brakes Australia) or www.rda.com.au (Rotors & Drums Australia) I just got a set of RDA front slotted rotors for my Supra for $240.
