  1. I'm an undercover cop in the underground racing scene.
  2. From our discussion it seems to be quite a quick and easy job (putting some T hose thingy in and 12PSI). If this is not the case and it requires more time. then, of course - when it suits you best. No fuss.
  3. Well given he has a formal I would think he is around 17/18 - but him being on his L's and a bit of a car nut, I would go with 16. I'm assuming she would be around the same age, THUS her being under 18 which by law is illegal to have underage girlies nakies on their phone. In saying this, quite a few people get done for this (quite common). Doesn't matter if she sends it, posts it around or whatnot - if you have it on you (Phone, wallet? lol or laptop/PC any other form you get done for it). If he, Andrew was over 18 it would be more harsh (or could be more harsh). The law works in funny ways. Detective Jeremy out !
  4. Will you be available to put 12PSI in Rosie this weekend?
  5. LOL oh my. girls these days :x
  6. Mik not a nice guy? Nevar ! Someone who smiles 99.9% of the time is always a nice guy - Soz Mik, but you're a nice guy.
  7. The only "racing" you're allowed to do is a "Rosie Race". This is where you see an R34 GTR in your street and you go to accelerate and change gears - the catch to this is you have to crunch a gear by mistake and feel like a total idiot.
  8. The day I passed rego I put everything aftermarket back on. Exhaust and height are my 2 main issues - everything else is legal. I cannot afford to be defected.
  9. I cannot afford to be defected Might have to bail. Sigh...was looking forward to it.
  10. Haha my bad. It has been awhile Cheers
  11. I have been a huge Battlefield fan from day one - back with BF 1945 - I have played all expansions from desert storm, to spec ops to BF4. BF4 is a good game if you're new to the scene - it's a lot easier and noob friendly. They have changed the mechanics of a few things (Notable is the Helicopter) which have turn things for the worse if you're wanting more "Pro style" type of playing - nowadays the Helicopter auto-hovers and turns are easier to make but are not forgiving for more harder turns. The gameplay itself has improved with buildings and maps and boats / content. However, when you fiddle with the mechanics of a game you're up the greek - even worse when a game has been playing for over 10+ years. To sum it up - BF4 is kind of like a HUGE expansion of BF3. BF4 has the better content but BF3 the better mechanics. I'd rate BF2 (for it's time) 8/10 BF3 - 8.5/10 and BF4 - 7/10. To mention: BFBC2 - 8/10. ^This will give my opinon on the other games EA has come out with so you know how I have summed up rating BF4.
  12. I got MIght & Magic: Heroes VI - if you're wanting a long lasting game... Heroes is known for this. Strategy Role playing - turn by turn movement. Games can last up to months.
  13. Haha that was a throw away comment t'was joking.
  14. Cops have many terms they can book you with - "intent to race" is one of them - I believe a mate of mine got done under this ruling. I still can't over the fact that people pull over when it rains here - I'm gobsmacked everytime. What did I do to my car today? Drove it to work - Keeping on topic of course
  15. I can understand that - but it's a cycle. When you were being foolish - I guess the people around you felt the same about their kids in the back - you understood the risk / learnt your lesson and now you're that guy with kids in the back. I do not have kids, so I cannot really comment on the thought of having little ones in the back - however, as I stated before - I personally put my foot down when their are no cars in front of me or close enough behind/ around me to be in an accident. There is always a time and place for things - which the track is best suited for but when reality kicks in - the street is where most poeple do stupid things - so if you are going to be stupid.. cause damage to only yourself. And just to clear it up - I'm talking about accelerating and not drifting / burnouts - that should be done in a closed off area where it's policed safetly.
  16. I can kinda understand why they don't have anything for L-Platers. I see a TON of driving instructors on the roads and I can assure you they won't be allowing people to do stupid stuff. and I guess the Government thinks that the responsible driver when driving with an L-Plater will be... smart to not allow their inexperienced driver to do stupid things. Thus, the P-off course being open to P-Platers - but I fear this course gives over-confidence to the driver. I think they should bring driving into schools - if it meant an extra $100-$500 in school fees for the year from Year 10 - I'd rather my kids learn to drive at school instead of doing sports trips / weekend at the snow (needless to say- our year 10 banned the snow trip due to.. well stupidity).
  17. You disagreeing with what I'm saying? :S It seems people are not understanding what I am saying. It is REALITY that people do it. I'm not hiding the fact that everyone is a little angel on the road, becuase they're not- so instead of covering up what people do, I am explaining to do it in the safest place - and I'm not referring to burnouts and fishys. I'm talking about putting your foot down going 20km/h the speed limit of 80/90km/h It seems that everyone is acting like their an angel on the road who drive like a grandma LOL
  18. Most the time a driver crashes is mostly being out of control. An L-Plater, generally does not have the skill / know-how on how to correct driving - A Driver with an L-plater does not have control the clutch, brake or accelerator - and is only available to a bit of the steering wheel. No one should be doing things that put themselves at risk of crashing (Putting your foot down in a 180kW car on dry roads with little to no bumps can be done safetly). But again, you're right in the sense that people shouldn't do it, but hell, even sometimes I give Rosie a bit of a kick - but I do this near no other cars that if I cause a crash I am hitting nothing but trees / off road.
  19. Canberra roads are a dragstrip - FORM ONE LANES BABY !
  20. True true - but saying that is so unrealistic that's it's not worth saying at all. You may as well say "If you're going to do it, at least do it in as 'safe' environment as you possibly can". Because at the end of the day - people will put their foot down - fanging 150km/h is just stupid but accelerating off quickly in a 'safe' environment can be done with little harm.
