  1. First day back at work after 10 or so days being sick (Unpaid leave, CURSE YOU). Anyways, first day back at work I decided to take the monring a bit easy and search for some Skyline reviews. The oldest review I have found is in 1999. http://smh.drive.com.au/motor-news/250z-gtr-on-nissans-wish-list-20100823-13g9r.html A good read. It's really interesting reading about such old cars to us, but reviewed as new back in the 90's. R34 GTR coming to Australia: http://smh.drive.com.au/motor-news/nissan-ponders-gtr-20100823-13gn0.html #@Sinista32 The Skyline GT-R wont be cheap. In Britain, the price is 50,000; if it happens here, Nissan Australia will be setting the price around $140,000. I remember us trying to find some cost figures for the R34 GT-R on it's release. Ztune R34: http://smh.drive.com.au/motor-news/skyline39s-the-limit-20100824-13oh7.html I've tried to find some Drive.com.au articales about the R32 GTR when it first featured or even in pre-production but I'm guessing Drive.com.au wasn't around then.
  2. My parents have been there and they enjoyed it. They're not the type of people who would enjoy something like that. But they did. Worth checking it out I guess.
  3. Rob tends to pull up a chair inside his front window and peak out at girls and and automobiles passing by. Spotted a fairly clean looking R32 GTR. Pulled up at the lights, no eye contact so didn't wave. He flexed his GTR a bit whilst cruising along Gunners drive.
  4. Oldm8 Helga.
  5. You can race, but you'll probably be in the grass. Dem 50m drags BRAH. Curvey track there isn't enough room to do a powercruise race haha
  6. Sure did, gave you a nod
  7. Ikr. The track doesn't have long enough strats from my understanding to "race". Overtaking if indicated etc Will get more deets.
  8. If anyone is interested to come along, they're welcome too. My uncle (Who is bringing his 370z not the Monaro) is organising it. Trying to organise it for September. It's a fairly strict track (No racing, no idiots etc) very curvey track etc So yeah, small track day with a few peeps.
  9. I may attend if the 10 PSI club bois come out
  10. Did you notice a big difference when you got all that fixed up Kat?
  11. I think the mechanic took it to the Aldi carpark for the day
  12. I was talking about your car silly ! not about the pictures ! Anyways, I guess it was not you.
  13. You work in SAP House? I saw a yellow R34 GTT on the roof top parking in civic. Not sure what your plates are but it was something like cv8... yeah bad memory.
  14. HICAS LOCK BAR & TOE ELIMATOR - the toe elimator might be some cash I'm guessing? I'm not sure. I asked him about not wanting my HICAS locked but he said he still needs that kit due to repairing the other stuff on the HICAS which the kit provides.
  15. Yeah, I don't want to locked but it's a "Kit" and he needs all the stuff in the kit (Bar the bar haha pun .
  16. Took Rosie in to get coil overs done - missing bush in one of the coil overs (Couldn't do it) so requested to do brakes - They didn't have time to do it. So got Rosie back with no work done ($50 labour fee so pretty much paid $50 to park on the southside). Few days later got a quote on all the work that needs to be done due to tare and wear, as follow; I guess with the below all done and fixed that's everything for suspesion and steering also, all the parts that are being replaced are from factory from my understanding so 15 years worth out of a part is fairly decent I spose: LAB 7.00 LABOUR $100.00 $700.00 WA - FOUR 1.00 FOUR WHEEL ALIGNMENT $90.00 $90.00 SPF1811K 1.00 BUSH - CONTROL ARM UPPER/ OUTER F $205.75 $205.75 SPF1484-21K 1.00 BUSH - SWAY BAR MOUNT - FRONT $22.67 $22.67 2.00 SWAYBAR LINK - FRONT GENUINE $68.00 $136.00 54618-85E00 & 54668-85E00 2.00 STEERING RACK END - FRONT - RE844R $39.91 $79.82 2.00 TIE ROD END - FRONT - TE926-12 $29.20 $58.40 2.00 HICAS BALLJOINT - REAR 55154-30P01 $155.00 $310.00 1.00 HICAS LOCK BAR & TOE ELIMATOR $325.00 $325.00 SPF1485-18K 1.00 BUSH - SWAY BAR MOUNT - REAR $27.53 $27.53 SPF2667K 1.00 BUSH - SWAY BAR LINK PIN KIT - REAR $24.69 $24.69 ENV 1.00 ENVIRONMENTAL WASTE DISPOSAL LEVY $5.00 $5.00 WSS 1.00 WORK SHOP SUPPLIES & CONSUMABLES $8.00 $8.00 TOTAL: $2,200
  17. $110 for a year - I think I shell sign up.
  18. Cheers guys - I think I'll be tracking oldm8 Rosie down to these lil family event haha
  19. JOKES !!! The alarm cable was unattached ! (Dodgily fitted) $60 later.
  20. Rosie died... Her heart let out and now she won't start. Find out I don't have the alarm key (to disable the alarm) so when NRMA arrives, I hope they got some tactics up their sleeve. Damn car becoming costly. Helga was a lemon but at least she was loyal ! :'(
