  6. He was selling that car on FB - whether or not he sold it in the past week, I dunno. Seemed like one on FB too.
  7. Don't worry. I surely thought Richard would've came up with something similar. haha
  8. Oh right - thought we were talking about the PoPo for a moment - long day at work...
  9. Well, they can if they suspect drugs, weapons, dangerous goods etc. But nothing to do with a vehicle defect. In extreme cases where there is danger to you or the public or if you were involved in anything then they may. Short term: For defects? No, unless you agree to it.
  10. In regards to the contact informationg displaying Real Name, interests and current cars etc issit possible to display these things again? Since there are so many people on this forum - I kinda knew people by their real names via looking at their contact card instead of their forum name. Also, I like to see what peoples interests were and their pride and joy (Their car which was listed). I relyed heavily on those contact cards which have now disapeared not to mention the lol factor it brought when people listed some things Hopefully this can return back or if off by deafult but a user can choose to enable it for public viewing. Cheers, Jeremy.
  11. It was you ! it took me an hour to find out the person who had that type of sig (The skyline). Where did you create it? Also, You're right... I'm sure creating my own project and finishing it will create some pride and joy however the money side of it.. The rims I want are $5k haha thinking letting someone else spend that money and then sell the car with the rims is worth it
  12. This is crazy... Like cracking down on it is fine - understandable. But do it to the future of cars that are coming through - not the ones that you (RTA) passed in the first place. If they're not confident in their mechanics to supply legitimate certs then punish them.
  13. Remember !!! hahaa Umm might be ! It's looking more realstic than not. It's bog stock though - looks bog stock too However, if it'll pass pits then I'm cheering and the cosmetics come out :3 Name yo price ! haha
  14. Yeah, went with these guys. Did a re-quote of depot pick up and it costs $700. It'll cost around $300-400 to bus down / drive back.
  15. Could anyone recommend a transport company who transports cars? I had a look on Google and found one who will transport a Skyline for $800 (Cannot be modified). It seems a lot of cash for a 7 hour trip. From Geelong (VIC) to Dunlop (ACT).
  16. If you covered your car it kinda means you have something to hide; and not necessarily hiding from the RTA but more so from thieves who target car parks - they'll be thinking they've found a gold mine haha.
  17. You will probably kill anything electrical in your engine bay (ECU or whatever). Vacuums produce CRAZY amount of static electricity which kills computer in a heartbeat - I'm guessing cars have computers of sort in them as well, so I wouldn't be risking it lol
  18. Apparently Helga was spotted with ACT rego with number plates "BEAST" yesterday. Or is there another Orange R33 with plates BEAST? (Not sure of spelling, could be B345T - or whatever). I paid heavily from Helga and not taking a second chance. The good news with this up and coming Skyline I'm interested in is that the owner seemed very confident when I asked if I could get the car inspected. From the pictures the car looks very well maintained but the asking price is one of the cheapest in Australia for R34's, so I am a little sceptical; Too good too be true comes to mind. But I will find out Saturday morning. The inspection cost $370 - a fair price for a 6 page report with pictures which covers pretty much everything.
