  1. Sounds quite hassle free if I have the correct papers. Cheers.
  2. Well, I'm still debating that. Normally, money is not an issue but when work tell you that you need to find new work because we cannot keep you... well... that puts a hold on everything. If I didn't have to look around for work, I would be spending the 4k. This is the idea atm, just trying to weigh everything up. Titan has PM'd me and in discussions with him atm. A lot of things to consider atm. Also, what have you need to do to make sure that the RTA do not pin you up for the conversions? Given it won't be my original shell.
  3. Roos are always sneaky jumpers ! I've learnt that their defensive tactic is to "confuse" a predator by immediately changing their direction when they hop along; which is why a lot of cars hit them which is why a lot of Roos hit cars. Did the Roo have insurance?
  4. No one has a rolling shell?
  5. That is where I went and have been quoted around $4,000. The guy is still yet to give me an official quote on paper - unofficial was around $4,000. I have explored all options - The chassis is heavily damaged but repairable. Been here for 2 years or so, just new to the scene. Word on the street is that Kelly Bodyworks is the place to go.
  6. B> Straight rolling shell of a R33 SR2. Genuine rolling shell. No history. Paper work will need to be provided with purchase. *Short story - I have an R33 SR2 with fairly bad chassis damage and costing a lot to repair from a shop. Need a 100% genuine rolling shell so RTA will pass the new body without any hassles. Cheers guys !
  7. It has 1 month in NSW Rego. Once the lad gets the full quote he will send me an e-mail with everything. He just needs to make a phonecall or two. I'm pretty much seeking a R33 SR2 rolling shell as of now, unless the quote is going to be cheaper then I expect.

  9. I'll have to ask the bodyshop guy to send them via e-mail. Also need to request for a full quote.
  10. It feels retarded, but cheapest in town apparently. I didn't notice the damage, but it's pretty bad. What is more retarded is that the car drives perfectly fine and perfectly straight. It's just the RTA being dogs.
  11. It's not on paper as of yet because he didn't quote the parts (He had to ask Nissan), however, the 2k so far is for the labour, enlightenment machine ($500) and signing the paper for RTA ($500). The quote isn't down on paper due to the quote unfinished , but I need 4 segmented parts, which is an unknown cost atm.
  12. 2k not including parts which could cost a lot. Not sure if I am going to pay to fix it or sell it
  13. Does everyone here generally have SAU car stickers? It does help to see who is from SAU or not :x
  14. The pad on the spark plug was like a pin, as oppose to a more round / flat one. So the spark must have been not strong enough, also it was rated at 1.1 gap. It's a clean rev cycle, however towards the end it chops a bit, but that could be the computer needing to fix itself/ tune itself in.
  15. Fixed(: There were dodgy spark plugs in it
  16. I'm all orange, head to toe. @Rob - Cheers for fixing it up haha
  17. Boost is at around 0.5 -1 bar. At really low boost it seemed to happen a lot sooner and at a higher boost it seemed to last maybe 500 RPM more. But in saying that, we were running around 0.5 bar and when it hits 4k it would splutter out and then pick back up again as if nothing happened. Once I get some videoes tonight. I'm sure you guys will be able to pick up on what's wrong in an instent. It's a very oblivious sound.
  18. We had the works ! Drinks and Rob (Not a Pulsar) on the phone giving us guidience, also Google was a bit of a mate on the night. A lot of it was testings up the road so pulling in and out = sucked. But, some boys on SAU reckon they've got the fix. My Spark plugs may not be "gapped". So will check that and HOPEFULLY it'll stop misfiring.
  19. I understand they scratch easily but didn't know about it being so sensitive. Washing it weekend shouldn't be to much of an issue though. So, if I was to wash it once a week whilst using it as a daily would that be okay? I do love the current colour ! but have always wanted matte black / grey. I now have no idea on what I should be getting D: I have some of the car opened (bigger pod, exhaust) Yeah, Rob was saying ! However, the front bar is emberassing damaged (Not by me! Rob can confirm) and if police are lurking I'll be in for a hefty fine. (Car is legal in NSW but ACT? not really haha).
  20. A series 2 (1.5). I buy series 2 parts.
  21. After 7 hours of trying to find why my engine is misfiring and failed....I changed a parker light globe. It was very satasifying to fix somethign at least !
