R33 S1 Gtst Problem Would Appreciate Any Help
discoPumpkin replied to Peanut92's topic in Forced Induction Performance
Oh my god will u just turbo youre NA GTS already, afterall this is the forced performance subsection where people with turbos should only be giving valued advice and opinions, rather than a kid on his learners trolling Theres an NA thread tho, u would be really helpful in that section, take care -
pretty sure "5 grand to upgrade the turbo" implies and means 5 grand to upgrade the turbo OP's original question was just that, turbo upgrade, lmao
-
He only needs the 1 turbo, not 4
-
that car went of, u were pumping hell revs into it and she loved every bit of it lol still cant beleive only 8psi

U did wot mate? get more power by running less boost then 9psi, now I've heard it all, leaving the thread ps fix the boost leak instead of lowering the boost to compensate 4 the leak ffs -
R33 S1 Gtst Problem Would Appreciate Any Help
discoPumpkin replied to Peanut92's topic in Forced Induction Performance
joking or? He's running 9PSI and to lower it to 5 what would that achieve apart from masking the issue and loosing power I'm not a mechanic and I think I know what i'm looking at, however if I brought a car without a second opinion or full mechanical inspection, then I bloody well deserve the thing to blow up on me next week! But it's lucky your a mechanic as u can inspect the vehicle yourself.. -
yep, #@34GeeTeeTee makes 390rwkw @28 PSI running HTA3076 on a 6boost man'y with E85 - stock internals, 150 000kms
-
sounds like a bargain

If it's detonating that's the worse thing for your car ever. Other then that take it to a reputable mechanic to suss the problems - as it sounds more then just a boost leak Never buy a car without a mechanical inspection no matter what -
what person runs a GTX3076R and doesn't go over 6000rpm

"death rattles" = bearings

well done for noticing an R32GTR is infact not an airplane..
-
and our a mechanic and actually know what your doing, imagine how us backyarders feel when we pull shit apart lol
-
welcome to the world of low mount turbos lol If u got access to a hoist will help from the bottom. Take this opportunity to change the turbos or dumpipes if u need to while its being taken apart Is that what the problem was, a blown propellor?

Need Two R35 Gtr For My Wedding In October This Year
discoPumpkin replied to zilla34's topic in South Australia
might pay to ask in the R35GTR thread also -
They weigh 1300kg , but a RB25 will make 350rwkw aswell as an SR20 but with a lot more torque then a rotary, where as your moor could make that power it just needs a lot more work and money It's still a good daily driver tho, has all the electrics and comfort etc. Don't get me wrong nothing beats the sound of a rotor, I love them myself but u need deep pockets to run them but its good u got one that just was rebuilt. ps keep feeding it plenty of oil so it doesn't run dry again

Is The R35 Gtr Really That Bad?
discoPumpkin replied to discoPumpkin's topic in VR Series - R35 GTR, Juke-R
I think this is what he's implying.. -
does anyone even know how much power they make, fuel consumption and the cost of the car b4 they say cool Then on top of that, the cost to turbo it. They r a nice looking car tho So it's had a new rebuild already despite being a newish car.. welcome to the world of rotary SR20 and RB25 neo r miles infront

Exhaust Advice - R32 Gtr - Twins
discoPumpkin replied to sultanaz's topic in Forced Induction Performance
More factors then just the manifold govern the turbine 'behaviour' such as turbo design, PSI, engine design, displacement, cams, Volumetric efficiency and off course witchcraft. But your theory is no backpressure is the best, so have u tested this on a dyno by running back to back with an exhaust and then without dump pipes to run straight of the turbo like u said? I'd be interested in the results.. -

Need More Down Low For The Track.
discoPumpkin replied to SIR-JD's topic in Forced Induction Performance
the mines 34GTR is so responsive coz of the diff ratios despite the 2530's on RB26. Either a 4.11 or 4.4 ratio would be off tap, obviously the top end end would be compromised a bit, but who cares mines GTR response is unreal -
