  1. dunno but you've got the big ass 4 door, so plenty of room in that boat to drive around the kids in the holidays
  2. Psi in tyres? go home Ben your drunk
  3. Since were Ozzy's, please use km/h
  4. I c atleast 10 skyrines a day, I better tell of my experiences shall I? paaaahhhhhleeease
  5. yah i'd be pretty pissed if I forked out 8k and didn't even get head I'd still tap that bottom end but They should be found much cheaper in US or Japan
  6. starting with OP ya reckon?... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/426960-vr38-long-engine/#entry6889546 No pressure OP
  7. just do what they recommend and u won't have any troubles, if u want to runner lower pressures for more grip on the track, perhaps change tyre manufacturers
  8. yes they do it for low end torque mostly for street and drag, however the RB26 platform is better for trackwork and hence why Mines' stuck to the original configuration. But if u were talking VR38 than that's superior in most areas and certainly bottom end torque
  9. omg, OP never once stated getting a bigger engine was an option, oh and the RB26 has to be one of the best know motors for track use for it's mid to top end power, reliability and revs. I agree with Jim and changing the diffs, and the other guys in swapping the cams, and finally making sure it has good soft tyres for grip to enter the corners fast as poss. That will make a big difference to response
  10. did the guy have insurance when he smashed into you? THIS. U can pick up cheap complete skyrines off ebay and gumtree these days that r complete and just either have an auto gearbox or blown motor.
  11. I mean is this thread actually even serious, surely not
  12. HPI made the best magazines of all, and he's Australian not American
  13. that's just like saying leave the single cam head on, because with double cam u won't c improvements in power and response Everyone knows if u can retain VCT, it significantly improves bottom end response and torque but since he has the non neo head already then it will still get the job done
  14. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/426942-lewis-engines-rb25neo-head-vs-there-rb26-head/ enjoy your meal
  15. Now I've had some good head in my time, but Neo would top the list, she just goes and goes and goes
  16. most jap cars have alarms but if they don't, at the minimum u want a hidden killswitch that turns the fuel pump of and has to be turned on everytime u get in the car, or either an immoboliser. GPS tracker r also a great option
  17. 70cc u mean in the form of a stroker for extra torque. And stock heads the rb26 flows more and has the better 6 throttle body intake, but with porting that's a different story. ^ I don't know any RB25s that make 963awkw like this r34 GTR
  18. even bigger numbers with head work and a built motor, your motor will never make as much as a rb26 without the head work and possibly a stroker
  19. tell him to put a hidden kill switch which turns of the fuel pump and has to be turned on everytime to start that's the cheapest and best way IMO to stop car theft
  20. once again i'm talking oil already in the sump, not stored in drums
  21. 34geteetee makes 391rwkw on 28PSI, whereas not only is Scotty's stagea running 4PSI more, but makes 50rwkw less despite running the equivalent turbo and displacement (2.5 6 pot) Sometimes its not about displacement or cylinders, but more so engine design, the RB2.5 motor is certainly capable of huge numbers with head work and a built motor, but once again irrelevant for street use
  22. I said it starts going bad in 2 weeks, and I wouldn't boost my car with old fuel cuz im not a tight ass and don't want to sacrifice performance, but if it's stored correctly that's a different story. I also said my mates car sat around for 5-6 weeks with bad fuel in the tank. A few days or so, but its stored properly, hence why many pumps r out of order until they get more fuel lol U admitted to not even driving your car for months at a time, so being scared to drive your car on the road doesn't justify bosting with old fuel IMO Next you'll be tellin us old oil is good 4 years and car servicing is just a myth lol *shakes head This thread has enough info, lock time
