  5. Hi guys, first post here, I'm usually an Alfa Romeo car guy but I've made up a small batch of Magnetic Blue Battery Triangles, They are perfect for track days! REGULAR BLUE ∆ $5.99 CUSTOM CARBON PATTERN ∆ $9.99 Weather resistant 0.6mm Magnetic Rubber material Competition approved size of 150mm Won't Damage Paint Easy to remove and apply The Flags on the Custom Carbon styled blue triangles look really good on the car in my opinion, German ones for people with Porsches, Italian ones for the Alfa enthusiast, and of course, Japanese ones for the Skyline fanatic Here are some photos of the Italian Blue Triangle on my GTV6 I've only made a small batch, and I've tried to keep the price as low as possible (but unless i did this on a mass scale it's near impossible) If you're keen, Shoot me a PM with your name, address and order and I will send you my bank details and an invoice! Regular Blue ∆ $5.99 Custom Carbon Standard/German/Italian/French/Japanese/English ∆ $9.99 Thanks! Kirby.
  6. STOLEN R32 GTR Unfortunately my friends beautiful R32 GTR was stolen some time this morning from Crace. He is offering a $2000 cash reward no questions asked to information leading to the recovery of this vehicle. It was an immaculate 1990 R32 GTR, metallic blue very similar to the R34 Bayside blue with 18 x 10 white Nismo LMGT1 wheels. Vehicle had many modifications such as new motor, turbos ecu etc. Was also fitted with 4' titanium exhaust. He is understandably devastated as he has been building this car up for many years, any information would be appreciated. Pm any info here. ACT rego #: YJL-87Y Vin #: 6U9000BNR32012669
  7. Hi guys, I joined up here a few years ago when I used to own an r-33 GTR, this community has been really helpful in the past and obviously has a lot of experienced with modified cars & blue slips. I desperately need advice on my current situation. I live in Sydney & own a 2000 SUBARU IMPREZA WRX, which I foolishly allowed to run out of rego (wasn't driving it often, money pretty tight), I didn't realise it would be so difficult to get a blue slip for a modified car. My mechanic down the road quoted me $2250 all up (wtf?) to put it back to stock and do the following work (obviously he's a completely by the book guy, possibly over-quoted as well): - pedal rubbers (the pedals are aftermarket lol) - check off valve - exhaust (its a half system) - NISIR stop light (not sure what NISIR means, but he said the stop light was out) - Oil leaks - Radiator support panel bent (I hit a bump in the road pretty hard about a year back damaged the front lip of the car, so I assume that's what its from) - Headlight covers (presumably not a big deal) Where should I take it (around Sydney) and what's the best approach to get a blue slip for the least amount of money possible? The main issues are obviously the exhaust, the check off valve and the bent radiator panel, nothing else seems major. I can't afford to put thousands of dollars into a car that's worth ~5k. That being said the car is reliable and has plenty of years left in it. I also really can't afford a new car either. Is an engineers certificate my only option? Please help!

  9. Hello all and welcome back to another tutorial. I hope you have been well, if you are reading this, we have a video detailing the process just below, and below that we have a write up for those who prefer some good reading material. Today we will be installing the Option B Blue Seats into the S15 Note: Most seats out of all S Chassy's are compatible with one another. If you have an old 180, 240, s13, s14, s15, then all the seats are interchangeable as the rails remain the same. So you can swap new seats into your old car, or if you have a nice set of aftermarket seats, and you're buying a new silvia to sell your old one, then you can slap them right into the new one. Now let's proceed with the installation. If you have aftermarket seats, then you will need to make sure you purchase S-Chassy rails, the bride rails sit well in the s15 and are a nice option. Step 1: You will need to remove the old seats from the car, this is quite straight forward. You will need a socket set, from memory i believe the size of the bolt was 12mm but i cannot remember exactly, as long as your set ranges from 8mm to 18mm you should be fine Step 2: Locate the 4 bolts on each seat. You will find that there are 2 on the floor under the front of the seat, and when you move the seat forward, there are 2 at the back you will need to remove, one will be on the floor and the other against the transmission tunnel. Step 3: I recommend unscrewing the front bolts until they are barely still in the hole, and can be removed with fingers, then sliding the seat forward to remove the rear ones and then you can reach underneath and undo the front ones. but, this is just how i did it, you find a way that suits you Step 4: Tilt the seat backwards, you may see 1 or 2 connectors under there. Most people will only have 1 connector which is used to check if your seatbelt is plugged in, you will need to unplug this to remove the seat. Now you might be special, and have 2 connectors, this is not very likely, but if you are, shoot me a PM if you're removing your seats and you have that yellow connector you have an extra step that needs to be taken Step 5: Gently remove the seat from the car, without breaking anything or scratching anything. Step 6: You might notice that your new/old whatever seats do not have the seat belt buckles on them, before you put them into the car, it would be a good time to remove the buckle off your old seat, and attach it to your new one. should be the same size bolt which is used to anchor the chair to the ground. Step 7: Gently install the replacement seat into the car and pretty much repeat steps 4 to 1 in reverse order. (Again, for those of you with the yellow plug, PM me for step 4.5) Step 8: Make sure all the bolts are nice and tight because this is what saved you from flying through the windshield at a sudden stop or crash Step 9: You're done! If you enjoyed this tutorial, you should consider checking out my other ones. I have quite a few videos focusing on aesthetics for the s15 and i plan to release a few more in the near future. Please also feel free to check out my channel for video guides and vlogs. Thanks for your time. Peace!
  10. hey guys my much loved r32 gtr got stolen today around 3pm from the side of the rd in ultimo, sydney city, it is fairly standard looking, midnight blue, spaced stock wheels, got a few little dings in the bonnet and passenger guard, the wing has paint chipped off it, has r34 n1 turbos, blitz turbo timer, innovate wide band in the glove box, oil cooler behind front bar, oil relocation kit, nismo 555 injectors, amr chipped computer, amr fuel reg, turbosmart manual boost controler, hks jazma catback, stainless y pipe from turbos, front lip is pretty railed, has a chrome tow bar, not many have a tow bar! there are holes drilled in the chassis rails at the back for the tow bar, pretty obvious. if anyone sees any parts being sold please let me know, the rego is bmf-76e and yes, i will be crying myself to sleep tonight. also sorry if i posted this in the wrong spot. 11. On September 24 a driver in a silver or grey FD Honda Civic (or some other Honda sedan) decided it'd be a good idea to speed through a red light. I couldn't stop in time and we collided . The guy in the Civic then left the scene Thought I'd share the damage while I sit here waiting for the bad news that my baby is written off. Out of interest, what do you guys think? Definitely a write off? Also, just in case, if anyone has seen a smashed up civic in the Cabramatta area in the last week - any info would be appreciated.
