  1. "special"
  2. Oh yeah further proof that Skyline drivers lose 87% park skill when on a cruise:
  3. Remember the old Monaro ad for the final edition where the museum curator drives the Monaro in and out of the glass case? The sound of the Monaro actually came from a Ford Boss V8...
  4. Oh yeah thanks for organising the cruise big sis!
  5. How fast were the Exige/Elises and M5?
  6. Pics: http://users.tpg.com.au/jycteh/Wisemans/

  8. No I was answering bobo's question (hence the quote)
  9. Mazda MX-5 (NC) won the last one. It's even more impractical than the 350Z!
  10. Nissan 350Z Unless you need a backseat, the 350Z is easily better than COTY Mazda RX8 The main reasons the RX8 won was because it had those novelty suicide rear doors and also because it was a rotary.
  11. I'm glad you didn't get murdered.
  12. Evo 3 and 4 are not able to be imported/complied as they are too similar to the locally sold Lancer GSR. Evo 5 no-one bothers with as you can import/comply the Evo 6/6.5 which looks nearly the same as a 5, and is better and newer.
  13. Joint winners don't count (okay I just missed it)
  14. 15. Colour looks really good.
  16. Expensive Euro cars actually hold their value quite poorly and have a high rate of depreciation. And BMWs/Mercs having a good reliability record is also false.
  17. The projector headlights look alot nicer than the reflector ones. Wonder how much the Nismo version costs.
  18. Nah wasn't me. Wasn't in that area at all on Saturday
  19. Oh yeah that's right it was the Fish Market! This was just before the Fish Market underneath the Anzac Bridge overpass.
  20. x 10,000 Okay maybe somewhere else but I did see you! I swear!
  21. Oh yeah also spotted RUSSIA on Saturday heading toward Manly Beach
  22. Looking at Motor's BandForYourBuck article, Wakefield times VZ HSV Clubsport DTS - 1:10.69 350Z - 1:12.15 VZ Holden Commodores SS - 1:12.70 They are for VZs so I can't be 100% sure of course.
  23. Okay lets compared a HSV to a 350Z (the flagship of the Nissan sports car range right now) Price HSV Clubsport R8 - $63,000 Nissan 350Z - $63,000 0-400 Nissan 350Z - 14.37s HSV Clubsport R8 - 14.01s No track times but I'm sure the R8 would be faster. Of course the new GTR will be faster than any HSV or Holden but its a totally different range of car.
  24. Ahh what car were you in? I saw some imports on the way there
