  1. Has anyone got braided brake lines from race brakes? I called them and was told to try again early next year... something about problems with the current design?
  2. on my indicator/light stalk I have a driving/fog light switch similar to the rear wiper switch on the other stalk.
  3. ah a different problem to what I had, I couldn't get the bolt to turn, but your sump plug keeps turning... is that right? also I found the bolt was an inbetween size, couldn't find a socket that fitted tightly, and by the look of it others had the same problem. but I might put a crush washer(non flat washer to prevent overtightening) on it again as they are only about $2.50 from nissan.
  4. That seems close to what mine is.... I would be changing the oil if it reached 6kg/cm. When cold it sits just above 4kg/cm at around 1200 rpm, thats in my RB25DE.
  5. try jacking the car up and checking for uneven tred depth, I had this problem on my car and balancing dosn't fix it. some people try shaving the uneven section, was told it was a common manufacturing flaw.
  6. The only details I can find on the R33 GTS-s is that it is a RB20E non turbo. I think about 96kw.
  7. I'd recomend bilsteins, their website has contact numbers. http://www.bilstein.com.au/
  8. This is what I found in my owners manual. the offset depends on the width of the rim, any good tyre place will be able to tell you if the rim will fit properly as well as if the rim will handle the weight of the car... most 4 stud are only rated for small cars like pulsars and have max load of about 500kg so are not usable. I ended up with 16x7 offset 40, tyres 225/50 92V (Toyo TPG) these also made my speedo more accurate..
  9. Try Fulcrum I've had them do work on my car and seem do a bit of work on skylines, also they do a free inspection. http://www.fulcrumsuspensions.com.au/
  10. I don't know if this helps? it might just be a vent hose?
  11. When I was looking for insurance I even had one person in suncorp tell me they didn't cover imports, I would recomend at least 3 quotes from them to get an idea of how much.
  12. I was looking at the front diff (I think) on my car today and noticed the hose at the top isnt attached to anything it just goes up to a bracket on another hose then hangs free with nothing on the end.... This may be how it's spose to be ???
  13. Also interseted in price & pics for R33 4 door..
  14. I'd go BP Ultimate, I don't get many more km over vortex(ampol) but it runs a lot smoother. I only tried optimax once and it felt like the time I put 91 ron in the car.
