  1. Hi, I'll be removing the HICAS probably this weekend if everything goes to plan. Just wondering, would it be possible to hook the rear outlet of the power steering pump directly to the second inlet/outlet on the power steering reservoir instead of blocking it? I can’t use the SK’s idea of using it to run power steering fluid through the cooler as it is leaking somewhere.
  2. Autometer Nissan Skyline R32 Dual Pillar Pod (23904) - 2-1/16 (52mm) It fits all R32 Skylines Sydney Brand new - never installed $70ono (they are about $90 at the shops if you can find them). Willing to swap for a 52mm Single A Pillar or a Mounting Cup. Thanx
  3. RSTME- check the link bellow. I've done this a while back and you got all the info in there. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...5+turbo+upgrade Hui - My car is Auto as well and I haven't had any issues at all.
  4. I've cut my rears. 3 out of 8 coils. Made it sit n look really good but the handling was crap. The only reason I cut it was coz i was ordering the new Whiteline kit and just wanted to see what it feels like before the kit arives. My recomendation is DON'T do it as you'll regret it.

  6. Hi what is the part number? I'm after Kings superlows but I was told by them they don't make them for R32's.

  8. I got a parking fine in front of my house. $125. Something about parking opposite of direction of trafic. It's a very quiet street and I've been parking like that for 4 years and this was the first time. Not happy.
  9. You just need the stage 2 shift kit from MV in Adelaide to fix the hitting rev limiter problem. I've had my auto for almost 2 years and I don't baby it. The only problem was hitting the rev limiter from first to second and slow gear changes. It was more obvious once I've put on a 3" exhaust. Once I put the shift kit in the problems were gone. Also, the power you're makin does seam a bit low. Mine has full exhaust, cooler, pod and stock rb25 turbo running 14 psi and makes 168 rwkw on a conservative dyno. ECU chip is next.
  10. My auto R32 ran flat 14 with 2.4 60". Mods: FMIC, pod, full 3" exhaust, stock R33 turbo on 14 psi and stage 2 shift kit. It makes just under 170 rwkw. No ECU mods as yet.
  11. Well I'll get them anyways. I've had them far too long to just forget about them. Might be a bit of fun for a while but if the cops really start being anoying I'll get them changed. Just imagine taking a new girl "friend" for a drive and getting pulled over at the gun point. The face she would have would be priceless. :devfu: :whip:  Well I'm off to Europe tomorrow and wont be back till the end of August so we'll see how we go then. Mr Ed32 - you have PM. Links - thanx for pointing out the mistakes. You learn something new every day.
  12. I'm pretty sure it's not the O2 sensor coz if you run the ECU dignostics and leave the screw selector in the diagnostics mode and start the car, it puts you into O2 sensor diag mode. Then it flashes on the dash OFF = lean and ON = rich, or was it the other way around. Mine was changong ON - OFF while I was plying with the throtle and driving around.
  13. Someone stall my personalised number plates!!! I went to Brighton le Sands on Sat nite for a dinner, parked the car on the street, come back and no bloody plates. WTF!!! Why would someone want to steel fricken plates??? Now it’s costing me $50 for a remake, plus $30+ for some shity standard ones and 3 weeks wait for the new one to be remade. Really not happy!!!
  14. I was using about 14.5 l/100 hile it was fairly stock and now i go through about 16.5 + l/100. I've changed the pump, filter and ultrasonically cleaned the injectors and still no fix. I'm fairly confident my O2 sensor is working fine. The A/F ratio is a bit on the rich side but not too bad (11/1). I have no idea what it could be.
  15. Very nice. Welcome to the 4 door club.
  16. There was an R32 at the Eastern Creek about a month ago with a 7M (Supra) transplant. I think he ran 9's.
  17. Auto - I learnt on manual and my first car was manual so I gotta say I love manual. I've driven way too many autos on my bussines trips and I hated them all. And then along came an auto skyline with a VERY good price tag. So the first thing I was gonna do to the car was change it to manual, but after driving it for a month I loved it and realised it was the best auto car I've ever driven. Heading in or out of corners and thru roundabouts is great, always in the right gear on the exit and with proper throtle control it's easy to get the gears/rpm right. Now I've installed the modified valve body and the whole experience with an auto has improved even more with qucker shifts on full throtle. It's a great everyday car. To keep the whole thing in perspective, auto is not something I would take drifting. 4door_sleeper - thats quite impressive time. Would you mind sharing the launch RPM's and you 60" time?
  18. FAT32 - how much power does 2535 make on a RB20? When does it start to spool where on the RPM range do you get 1 bar?
  19. My mate has one of these and he was talking about selling it. But this is in Sydney.
  20. I changed my spark plugs from heat range 6 to 5 and it fixed the problem. The recommended heat range for series 1 R32 is 5.
  21. The sunlight sensor is on the dash. Its tucked in all the way in the left corner. The outside temp one is at the front, around the horn somwhere. PBR - not sure. I have some problems with the heater too. I cant change the temparature, it's stuck on hot. Now when you mentioned it, it must be that diverter flap. Where is it actually located? How hard is it to fix it?
  22. Hey great time, congrats. Very impressive time and 60". What RPM's did you take of at to get that 60"?
