  1. Compared to a normal track day say tampered motorsport the lap vs cost value is quite poor.
  2. You get one standing lap followed by three flying laps normally 4 sessions each round.

The Vl wagon gets my vote for tool of the day, the one with the blinds in the back.

Tampered motorsport are running a track day on Australia Day 26th. $150 for the day but its timed and a heap less cars out on track than the fun day.
  5. I was looking for info at the start of the year on these tyres this was on an american muscle car forum.... Thank you for your inquiry regarding the Ecsta XS, see below for baseline info. There isn't really a temp that the tire "fades", you will need to get the proper heat into the tire to get peak performance. The closer you can get the tread to the 205 temp the more grip you will have. Let me know if you have any additional questions. Have a great day. • ** Molded to 6/32 • • ** Shave to 3/32 - 4/32 for max grip and durability • ** Recommend initial heat cycle for prolonged use • ** -1.0 to –3.0 degrees of camber for stock and mild suspension • ** Slight toe out front, 0 to slight toe in rear • ** 35-45 HOT PSI for most vehicles • ** Cold PSI for autocross and hot PSI for circuit racing • ** 30-36 PSI for tuned suspension and lighter cars • ** Operating temperature range 190’-210’ (205’ optimum) across tread face • ** Wet inflation pressures 5-8 PSI below dry cold pressures ~Jason Myers Motorsports Services Kumho America Technical Center
  6. This would be much better in a car than on the desk so. Item: Gizzmo Boost Contoller Condition: New still in box (been opened for pics) Price: $280 Location: Albury Wodonga cheers
  7. Maybe motorsport builds should get a sub forum in the motorsport section itself? It seems like most these builds originate in the motorsport section anyway. Looks like another serious gts-t is on the way, can only make the world a better place.
  8. Ouch you wont forget one that in a hurry. So lucky you had that rough dirt road.
  9. There is some info in this thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ty...=ku36&st=20 Faster than a road tyre by nearly 2 seconds a lap. Not a real track tyre but if own one set of rims its a smart choice given the price.
  10. ABS would have benefits on a wet track too.
  11. Hey Ian I find a track day generally shuts them up good excuse for a trackday. but I did have one set of front pads that never shut up from day one to death, they got better over time though.

  13. Plus when you turn into an old poof you'll need the room for the golf clubs
  14. I have only run them at a winton fun day so far, sprints start again in a few weeks. Like Harry said tramlining can be a problem, but overall i'm really happy with them. Harry how have you found the tyre wear so far?
