  1. interested to know how that ties in here?
  2. Just to close this thread out, picked them up today. They have been drilled/flowed what ever they are!! Flow ended up being 800, well 790mil. So enough for what i need. Pritty happy to be honest. The guy that gave them a service replaced all the O rings etc and said the spray pattern was spot on
  3. Picked up the injectors today, ended up flowing to 800, well 790mil! They have been flowed, still not sure what brand they are however they have the flow, probably more, than i need so theres some money saved!
  4. Do you guys change the plugs and service it after every event? Or just change the oil etc
  5. Thanks mate, my thoughts too. Purchased a new metal manifold gasket, rocker cover gasket, will get some replacement hoses and a fuel filter while im at it! Started research on spark plugs at the moment, trying to figure out the best balance of cost v replacement time for a track car. Also thinking along the same lines for oil.
  6. Have been using that one too. Post up how you go or any tips/pics etc. im half way through mine
  7. Thanks guys, seems like its in the middle of quality v price
  8. Will be moving the battery to the boot, is the any advantage for weight distribution to put the battery on the passenger side or drivers side?
  9. Gday everyone, in the process of putting a front facing plenum on my RB25 R32. Need to adapt the intercooler piping so am in the market. Let me know if you have some for sale. Either PM, [email protected] or 0421845346 Im in Sydney but if the price is right happy to talk about freight etc. Cheers
  10. Heard back from the guys on thursday, I asked for a flow test on one first so it could be determined what they might flow before spending the money on a service and clean. Came back with 100mil over 10 seconds meaning 600mil over 1 minute which all injectors are measured by. They are very gummed up and had bad fuel sitting in them. Looks like they might be the Nismo 740s!! Great news. Also sheds light on why my car didnt start the other day. So they will be cleaned and re-flowed next week and ill have a final figure.
  11. No engineer certificate, however just like you Bushy the RB25 engine number is listed on the rego papers! Didnt think cars from Vic needed a mod plate! Thinking they might be Nismo injectors. Early results from the injector flow test/ flush/ service was 600mil over the minute with gummed up, bad condition injectors. Great news there, seems like they might be the 740mil Nismo items! Will get the results next week on the correct flow.
  12. Gday, Have owned this car for around 6 months now, as im starting to have more time im now working on it so thought i would start a thread. A few details on the car: 1989 GTS-T type M RB25 and gearbox from a R33 installed by Nismo performance Melbourne Blitz Front mount intercooler Unknown bigger turbo Unknown bigger injectors GTR drivers seat Unknown heavy clutch BC coil overs front and rear Other upgraded suspension components Z32 brakes front and rear (the 30mm aluminium type) GTR front Correct type-M kit minus front The plan with this car is to turn it into a drift/track car that i can use in multiple events at my leisure. Has some hail damage on the roof and bonnet so will more than likely wrap those black. To do list as follows: Complete front facing plenum install If the injectors flow to 700 stick them back in after a service, it not buy new ones New plugs Check that it has a new N1 pump in it (as was told it did) Check timing belt Move battery to boot Adjust existing intercooler for front facing plenum Check all suspension components Remove Hi-cas Remove interior and put in fixed back seat New oils Drop off to JEM for computer install and tune Alignment Enjoy! Big list but do-able. Will be taking my time and working on it when i can. Will have it done within the year even if i have to take time off work to finish it! Now some pics, As i bought it: Drift appropriate wheels: Engine bay: Current interior: Have these to go in: Genuine: As it sits, currently Fouled plugs: Unknown injectors, either standard or Nismo 420 or 740: Engine bay, currently changing over what i need to onto the Ebay special front facing plenum with fuel rail and 80mm throttlebody: Well thats it to start, will update this as i go. Cheers
  13. Its a turbo motor, it might have a computer without a sticker stating it does but i dont think so. The add did state it had upgraded injectors but i take that with a grain of salt! Either way, they are being flow tested tomorrow. If they flow at 700 will give them a service and be all good. if not ill be in the market for some!! Thanks for the help everyone, i thought there would be an easy way to ID these!
  14. Although through all the searching im doing on A46-Z00 (the last number seems to be the batch number) is returning Nismo 740 injectors. Guess ill have to get them flow tested to be sure! More expensive way to deal with it, however i dont want to throw away 700 dollars worth of injectors that will suit what i need!
  15. Had a look at the computer, looks like a standard one. Leading me to the fact that they must be standard injectors too!!
  16. where can i check, nothing comes up to match exactly when i search
  17. hmmm, a quick google search said they might be nismo 720 injectors but i didnt believe it. Out of an R33 RB25. i think i read somewhere siliva injectors can be used in these fuel rails? Ive attached a pic this time.
  18. Gday everyone, Can anyone ID RB25 injectors with numbers A46-200 and 0121517 on them? They are red. Thinking they are the standard ones, however want to make sure. if they are bigger than standard will have them flow tested and serviced. cheers
  19. Gday guys, as drifting requires more changing of plugs and oil, what do you use in your RB25? Cheers
  20. Thanks for the help guys. Im pulling it apart now to check all that. I think ill get the injectors cleaned while i have them out. The plugs were black as all buggery too so that cant be helping!
  21. OP you still around, would love to see the pics again!
  22. Gday everyone, new to skylines and RB25s, ive just pulled my R32 GTS-T out of the shed to start working on her finally. It has an RB25 and is manual. Car wont start.
