  1. Hey guys Those who have gone through a safety check in QLD to get rego, any ideas what they are like for modifications? In this case, a high mount turbo.
  2. WTB : R32 front guards, bonnet Hi all, After saying hello to a wall at Matsuri im after the following R32 front guards, would prefer wide body R32 Bonnet of any kind Ready to buy in Vic, or if you can drive a bit ACT or Sydney would be fine too.
  3. You must not be getting notifications another pm sent
  4. hmmm, might pull the slave off and bleed from the master as you have a fair point about the high point. if still no good ill pull it apart and bench bleed. cheers mate
  5. yep, will know for next time. First time ive replaced a master cylinder. Seems like i simply need to bleed the system more as there is just so much air in there
  6. Nope didnt bench bleed it, however i did bleed it once it was on the car. maybe I havent bleed it enough yet
  7. Il add, as I was getting nowhere I went back and bleed the master as well.
  8. Gday all, Ill start this by stating I have searched and also read through a few really good DIYs so have checked off, what i think, all the simple stuff. Vehicle in question is R32 GTST with RB25det and matching R33 gearbox. So, ive bleed my clutch before but this time I have swapped out the master cylinder for a R33 item and also replaced the factory line with a braided line. Started bleeding away just like should be done however am getting no where. Its become apparent when I open the bleed nipple on the slave cylinder its sucking in a heap of air before depressing the clutch to continue the bleeding procedure. The slave piston is also pushing out when the bleed nipple is opened and the air is sucked in. Is something out of alignment so its not pushing the slave piston when it should? Am I doing something wrong, rookie mistake etc etc?? Dont want to take it to someone to get it done, would prefer to increase my knowledge and get it done correctly. Cheers!
  9. Fantasitc build, 15k in engine alone!! Will be watching this one. Is this the 32 that got T-boned at the Summer Matsuri this year? If it is, tough luck mate but this new build will be fantastic
  10. Because you said you would buy his blind when you got a job. You have a job but havent bought the blind.
  11. Noticed the false floor you put in under the pedals. How did that go? Looks like yove fixed it directly to the floor however others that ive seen have been about 5cm above the floor. How have you found it?
  12. Wasnt there one of these just being stripped in another thread????
  13. Very nice mate, and very stock engine bay!! Good to be reading about another GTS-t
  14. Thanks for the tips guys, have a plan in place with kit to take with me if i have dramas at the Matsuri at the end of the month
  15. I think the existing hose clamps had been on a off a few times are were warping as others have said, i hadnt changed them since buying the car. I have had the engine out at DVS Jez workshop and he changed an engine mount while it was there if my memory is correct. But i will stick my head under the car and double check. Yep thats the other thing i did, put a bead on all the pipes that didnt have one so there is something to grip against.
  16. Gday everyone, Ive been having some dramas with intercooler piping blowing off ( RB25DET series 2, standard turbo [12 PSI only], front mount intercooler and front facing plenum in a R32) so have replaced all the joiners with new silicone joiners and T bar clamps on the whole lot. On the hot side, there is 10 to 20mm movement, by hand, of the piping. Common sense tells me this is needed as the engine will move under load etc but i dont want it to be a cause for pipes to continue blowing off. Should the moventment be a problem? Cheers
  17. Bluddy hell mate i feel for you. At least you can now crack on with getting the car to how you want it. Ill be following this along mate, youll have a great car in the end
  18. Looking through the calender, there isnt another motorkhana. Wondering how come after the first one was so successful?
  19. Cheers! Hah not at this stage ive got about 50kgs in the doors to go first haha, will start shopping for the vent to the right of the steering wheel soon as ill be moving the boost gauge to the centre with the other ones and adding a coolant temp gauge too.
  20. Yeah, have rolled the piping now also. Hopfully these T bar clamps do the job, im only pushing 12 PSI though it!
  21. Well been a while since ive updated this. Winton Matsuri didnt go well, kept blowing off intercooler piping all weekend. Got about 5 half laps in.... For those 5 half laps I was alive...... Have to admit there were no problems other than the cooler piping blowing off. Was fairly pissed off for most of the weekend so not many pics So to fix the problem, i flared the pipes, new silicone joiners, new t-bar clamps on all the silicone joiners How the stupid wing will look once i paint it black and fit it up... because racecar And its sat in the shed since! Hopfully ill get it out again shortly, hate looking at it under the cover doing nothing!
  22. Not registered, and not descrete enough to creep around the street with on interior and cage. Thanks for the tip, ill google it. Cheers
