  1. Do you have a dyno and how much for a few runs? need to check my intercooler piping has stopped blowing off
  2. Id prefer to pay a bit more membership each year, and a percentage goes towards up keep of the forum (thought that was actually already part of it!!) On a side note, if you can get rid of all the spam posts, the forum will be better for it. Others forums dont seem to have as much spam as this one, is there a weak spot in forum registering?
  3. Fantastic, ill try and make it down. will be good to meet a few people
  4. Gday everyone, Entries opened for this tonight, ive got my entry in and paid, anyone else going? Thought this might be a good idea to start a thread about the event. Cheers
  5. If you get stuck sing out, might be able to help you out this weekend. Im no towie but have a trailer and tow rig!
  6. Thanks gents, they are a joy to own! Yep, factory 12HT with no rust. Took a while to find too!
  7. Well have just moved down here so thought i would contribute to this thread! My cars 2005 VZ HSV SV6000 number 24 of 50 R32 GTS-t Type M track car with RB25 and matching mods 1989 HJ61 Toyota Landcruiser daily and tow car Hope to see you all around at some events this year!
  8. Ah, this is the weekend after Winton Masturi. Will see how it goes during that, if all good ill try and get a late spot!
  9. Edit, had a grown up look for price and sup regs!
  10. Thanks gents, its not much at all. Ill just give it a wipe over. Will allow me to do it when i move into my house. Cheers
  11. Gday gents, Have just moved to Vic, as my R32 is a track car this question relates to my Landcruiser. How strict are roadworthy inspections on seeping oil? I have 2 leaks, one from the pinion seal and one from a powersteering hose. I have the parts to replace them however no shed or tools to do it as im staying in a hotel at the moment. Was hoping to get the roadworthy done on the car before i go back to work so once iam at work i dont need to stuff around getting roadworthies in the week that i will have left on the rego! Advice please!
  12. Cheers, I can get the 6 point strap for the Takata if i feel i move around too much in it. Just like you said before, i dont want to slide under it.
  13. Update, Roll cage in, perfect fit and fantastic workmanship. Genuine harness in. Currently on its way down to Melbourne on the back of a truck as ive just moved. Couple of photos too! Next, give the car a confirmatory run at the drags, then looks like my first event will be the Matrusi at Winton in Feb. Looking forward to getting the car out there and enjoying it. Cheers
  14. No no passengers, plus wanted to post as didnt get to run tonight again booo!
  15. Now $200 with the engine stand, dont want to take it to Vic with me. Be quick its on drift sales too so might end up swapping it for a half eaten cake and fuel flap
  16. Is that for a regod or non regod car Ravi
  17. I have my Skyline insured with Lumleys. No on track insurance buy insured for in the pits, to and from the event, mechanics and in the shed at home
  18. Gday mate. Yeah read through the regs and will be picking up an AGI bolt in half cage
  19. Yeah dry ice is the go. But dont be a tight ass like me and not buy enough as it makes it harder!! I used dry ice in bags to do the upright panels, worked a treat. Then used thinners to get rid of the little bits that was left
  20. Thanks for that mate. Cage ordered, AGI bolt in half cage with the extra diagonal bar (wont be getting the eye hooks for a harness, im going to loop it directly over the bar) Ill be moving to Vic soon, hence the CAMS cage as its needed to do any drifting in Vic. So im hoping to get to a drag night so i know the car actually will work how it should, then first event looks like it will be the Matsuri at Winton in Feb. Dont really have anything to do to it before the event either so will have to be very patient!
  21. Update, now $350 Or swap for a set of rims 5 x 114.3 , 17 inch with offset around 15. Happy to throw some cash your way if needed. Also have an R33 ECU to add to the mix Cheers
  22. Gday mate, thanks for your support. its been massive to get to where it is now! You raise a fair point! The drivers Sparco seat and Takata harness are genuine but the passenger one i have got isnt. You raise a very good point with the fake harness for the passenger. It will be hooked up to a roll cage, is it the angles that do it? My thinking was that it would hold the passenger snug to the seat, more so than just the standard seat belt.
  23. Ah perfect mate no worries, just spoke today to Dave myself (Adam is a SEMA lucky bastard!!) and ordered my half cage. Ive seen them up close, they are good cages dont think youll be unhappy. Plus for 100 dollars more youve got a CAMS spec cage, win! I have a Sparco Pro2000 on a bride rail in mine. Bolted straight in, and hugs tight. Wouldnt want to be an over weight individual though haha.
