  1. Anyone able to do that one ^ The guy has a bunch of offers at the moment.
  2. Could I get this one done please? 6U9000BNR32016812
  3. One of the most impressive necros I've seen Must have been searching through the forums for hours!
  4. What, you mean every car isn't like an E class to drive?!
  5. This one gave me a chuckle, though those stone chips look pretty bad!
  6. Saw this as well. It's pretty tempting if it is actually a Vspec - even for an interstate buyer. Just wish they had put a bit more information up on it... Also whats with the colour difference on the pillars and roof? I'm guessing that was the original colour and the body kit was bayside? What's confusing me more is this one http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Nissan-Skyline-2000/SSE-AD-2154900/?Cr=7 VspecII apparently. No rear diffuser, Dash cluster isn't smaller 1-3kRPM, No front black bar / (diffuser?), Amber turn signal lights instead of clear - all things I thought were on a Vspec2? Only things I can see to say its a Vspec2 is the bonnet and the badge?...
  7. So this escalated quickly.... How about those Prius eh? Gotta love fuel economy... *cough*
  8. Is this the video you were talking about C4?
  9. Most people your/our age would be pissing their pay up against a wall. Where there's a will there's a way, and you seem to have found both mate. Not everyone can afford a 100k+ car and those that can are usually either much older or born into wealth.
  10. I'm of the same mentality. I've worked my arse off since I was 16, and now work as Project Manager for an IT company. I've contemplated saving as much as possible to put towards a 35, but that 6 digit loan is a little scary. Theres one in WA up for 80k which is rather tempting even if the black hood on silver body is a little garish. Still everyone tells me to spend 40k on a car is too much at my age and to buy a house instead. A car is more than a means of transport than for your 'average' person. It's a hobby, its your enjoyment, its your baby. Some people like to go home and sit infront of the TV after work. I like unwinding with a nice cruise around the country roads or some twisties in the mountains. Horses for courses. There are 2 points that you can own a sports car in your life (assuming you get married and have kids), when you are young, and when you are retired / mid life crisis. Guess which version of you looks better in it? Wish australian prices were in line with the rest of the world though. >.<
  11. Pretty sure I've seen that one as well C4. Pretty sure they were all tuned cars but?
  12. I've been working since I was 16, and have the best job I know of anyone my age on a decent wage, but still no way I can afford a 35 GTR... unless I win tonight's lotto... In which case I'll own a 32, 33, 34 and 35...
  13. Hmmm, Interesting. I don't recall seeing any videos of GTR vs Evo/STI on Tsukuba - I'll have a hunt tonight. GTR seems to be the nice middle ground between Supra and Evo then I personally prefer mountain runs than straight line, and live at the bottom of one with some nice hairpins that I frequent.
  14. 23 and driving a R35 GTR? Show me your ways! 21 and looking at breaking the bank for a R34 GTR!
  15. Again an interesting response, a 34 GTR is less agile than an Evo? I (probably naively) assumed they would be pretty on-par.
  16. I actually find this thread very surprising. When I was looking for my second car (still on my P plates) I test drove a N/A R34 and N/A Supra. I ended up going with the N/A Supra because it felt a lot quicker and the dash was a lot more inviting. I love the 34 and Supra looks pretty equally. I am now a few years on and looking at trading up to a 34 GTR at some point, because the Supra is such a broad minded person to handle in the rain and AWD is rather inviting - but its very surprising to hear a Skyline forum telling people to get a supra. After all, the only comments I've ever got from skyline drivers is "Go f*ck off fishing in your boat" 2JZ is an amazing engine, the V161 and V160 Getrag 6 speeds are amazing. The stock internals don't need to be switched until big numbers. After being in a 600HP GT42R big single supra, its incredible. BUT, the car felt utterly uncontrollable as soon as you came on boost (you are just along for the ride), especially in the rain. After driving my N/A Supra for long enough in the rain, I get the feeling that she actually wants to kill me.
