im assuming you pulled the plugs out and had a look inside?

hey, i was the guy that helped driver with the conversion. basicly i merged the gtr loom with the gtt loom to allow a rb26 power fc to plug directly into the gtt loom. loom took about 10 days to make (bout 3 hours each day), but she fired up the first time!! i cant remeber exactly, but we had to the mix and match the left and right mounts. I think the gtr braket doesnt fit, and the gtt ons bolt directly on. radiator pipes bolt in, intercooler pipes had to be customised. The aircon wiring had to be completly customised, and admittedly i havnt actually finished it. (driver: will get to some time soon ) rb26 dump pipes bolt directly in the gtt zorst. that all i cant think of at the moment, wiring is pretty much the most difficult thing. steve

too right!! i would have welded steel rods in place of the shocks and driven at top speed over speed humps and small jumps etc, then i would have smoked it up till the tyres blew, and kept going till the rims broke off, then i would have put a brick on the accelerator and dropped the oil from the engine till it seized, then i probly would have shot it to bits....... then burnt it..... it would have been a nice full day of fun! steve

why dont you attempt to service it your self? it isnt that hard changing the oil and filter, plus theres a lot of peeps on the forum who could help you out. steve

powder coating involves spraying powder all over the object and then baking it for a few hours. so i can look like spray paint if a spot is missed or over sprayed etc. steve

well this topic proves a lot of r33 owners hate their cars. you should swap them for a r32 gtr? -
what i meant was, people are asking too much for a bare head, i wasnt talking about labour. I totally agree with paying for good labour though. I wanna do this right the first time, so im gonna buy another head. I allready have a top notch head dude here in perth, he's a bit pricey but the quality of work is the best. no point in building up a brand new bottom end, and putting a shit head on top. thanks guys steve
-
thanks for that, problem is finding one here in perth. most people want too much.
-
hi guys, looking at the pics, is it possible to get this head fixed? a piece of the valve guide snapped off and fell into the cylinder. thanks, steve
