I love stories keep em coming people Picture it, Yesterday unlike today a very wet and miserable day, after receiving a call from my gf to pick her up from work I decided to take my back up mobile to avoid any mishap. So I called upon the powers of my ford fairmont once this was produced in front of me I then proceeded to make my way to the Cumberland highway destination north Sydney .On the this journey I encountered a man he too was hairy , fat and of a Mediterranean background in what appeared to be a Suzuki gti. Noticing this at first glance no would think twice but its the actions that followed that really made this story what is today, Now at this point we had stopped at a set of lights when then I heard a engine screaming for help coming from the Suzuki’s direction. Sure enough this man with no destination was bellowing out his intentions to me, so I then thought im very bored its very far I dot want to go its wet before I even realised he propelled himself forward while spinning those 3 spokes of the mark. Then I felt an overwhelming sense of power surge threw me down my arm and into my automatic shifter at this point my foot went straight to the floor. As I came closer and closer to him I noticed his car wasn’t coping to this mans pressure letting me come right past him until we hit the next set of lights. I once again heard this poor engine suffer the brunt of his anger as the rev started tapping in pain while this happened the lights turned green. He then let go of his poor beast letting it spin continuously while turning the wheel from side hoping to get a inch of drift action out of her .At this point I was in stiches laughing to myself by myself having ppl think I was a mentally sick person denied his medicine. By then his revs died right down got grip and continued on his merry way, as did I. Not really abuse but I had to get it out of the system sorry guys

George Sorry to see what’s happened to the car the main thing is your are well enough to talk about it, dont know but might be a suggestion to list the parts your looking to sell and prices so buyers can see what’s on offer...

Mine had similar problems, but it turned out to be a fuse replaced it and now works except for when I get out of the car turn the key to lock car they dont fold in as they used to?

DJ Pay no attention to ppls advice in lowering your price, its your car you spent money on it and you have owned and took care of it. As far as im concerned if your happy with your price and think its fair stick to it, after all not everybody has even close to what your asking for so even if you go down 10k you’ll only find more tyre kickers will be contacting you. When it comes to selling cars its all about patience if you can afford it.

Thanks that’s what I thought (it wasn’t blowing fuses but the actual fuse link itself was getting hot due to the previous owner tampering with it, this was causing the link to play up with electricals)

Just going back to an old topic here but came across a discrepancy regarding the fusible link, i had been told by an auto electrician in the past that you’ll only find the one coming off the positive but when i consulted a friend that works at NISSAN i was to discover that another must come off the negative terminal as well. Dose anyone know for sure if it’s just the one or if there is a second one coming of the negative? Thanks in advance.

had the similar deal happen to me, i too thought it was the ecu but it turned out to be couple fuses and new battery terminal all was good
