haha fabrication isn't cheap.. Unless you have hook ups or something. And yea they're pretty easy to get in and out of. I'll go take some pics now.

I have the bride copies from Just Jap in my car (reclinable) they hold you in pretty well and I don't use a harness. Only thing is it cost me more to get them installed than the actual seats.. And the rails/sliders are a little dodgy, but you get past that. Meh I've got extractors, pod in a box, exhaust etc.. Never had any trouble from cops. Been defected once in 2 years for the pod even though it was enclosed.. Mechanic laughed and fixed it up for $40. And the only reason I got defected was because I stupidly went to lapa at midnight on a Friday lol..

A good base by which to start for those new to the skyline scene. It is an average track/twist car at best, but that's what you pay for. You're mistaken if you think I've made it out as some awesome track machine. Other benefits include - The looks of a skyline - The potential to be a reasonably competitive track/streeter with work (suspension etc or even a turbo for a nice high comp hard pulling car with minimal lag. - Most of the features that many other skylines have.. LSD, ATTESA etc - Better fuel economy than most other turbo cars out there under the same price range - A great base for those new to the skyline scene, to learn the inner workings of RB'S and the rest of the car come time to buying a turbo if you want. - Cheaper to insure - Lower maint costs You need to stop looking at the GTS as a car by which you want to get the absolute most out of for street/track performance. And on a side note they're great fun to wipe the smile's off rx8 owner's faces

THe first post.. I thought it was pretty obvious. You said skyline's (One would assume you mean all) lack the qualities for good track/twisty work.. Does Bathurst mean anything to you? The list goes on.. I'm not here to say skyline's are some ultimate machine. If you aren't allowed to get a turbo, a non turbo skyline is a great place to start if you have the money to get to know and learn the inner workings of a skyline anyway. I'd have NFI what I was doing if I lifted up the hood on a skyline after driving around in some shitter on my P's for a few years.

MMm i finally quit.. Well basically. Sold my 70 lock on Frostmourne and gave my other acc with a 65 druid on thaurissan to a friend.

I disagree, sure I want a turbo. But some of us didn't have a choice due to P plate laws. And many aren't about to spend what like 18+k on a non turb s15. I could care less about straight line power.. Twisties/track is where the real fun is at.

Yea well it's kicked off a fair bit in numbers since I can remember joining. But It's just so difficult without a market to support the N/A If they made super-charger kits, or hell even twin charger kits for the n/a that would be mint.. but meh.. Costs for something like that in terms of fabrication/mechanical without such a market is just too much. So there's only so much we can talk about before money plays a big factor. Seeing as it's only been 2 years or so since the non turbo laws came in for NSW anyway, and some states soon to follow the trend. I think the N/A section can only continue to grow. Also there's something for anyone mechanically minded to think about.. I know there's a big following for turbos in aus, but that also goes for N/A's whether it's v8's 6's or 4's.. If someone were to go into making different kits (Exhausts /superchargers/ high compression bits n pieces etc) for these cars locally I'm sure they could promote the growth. Not many people like paying over the internet to receive a part that's a couple thousand K's away meh.. And while we're on the topic of N/A's.. I think I'm selling my car soon (No, I'm not over skylines) I just want to go overseas and need the cash Rest assured though, when I get back etc and get some more money, I'll be back in the game. Not sure what I'll be after though, I appreciate a wide range of cars so who knows what I'll get.

I think he thought the answer to his problem was give it a little more throttle to send it the other way.. and a bit more.. and some more and now you've dug yourself a big hole, not only are you out of control but you're moving faster than you were before when you started losing control. I learnt that the hard way lol

harrr yea lol there's a little pshhhh from easing off the throttle dunno why... I need a quieter clip though bleh so much crap was going on when that was taken.
