  1. Lol their heads are going to explode when the V-spec comes out I suppose haha.. What about the evo spec? If that makes it to production.. Game over.
  2. Well that's his mistake for driving out west with a purple WRX probably stands out like dogs balls. Edit: And they need to ammend the law due to the following. L platers - Can drive any car they want as long as a full licensed driver is supervising. P - Platers with MORE experience driving a car can NOT drive any turbo charged, v8 etc etc car WITH an adult 'supervising.' Please.. Someone explain the logic behind that? IMO I think it would even hold up in court if you were to be caught driving with a turbo car if you had a full licensed person with you. So Johhny's dad has a heart attack or needs to go to the hospital.. it was fine when he was on his L's and he could drive his dad there.. Yet if he is on his P's under the supervision of his dad he runs the risk of 7 points and $400.. And just saying that it's a SPECIAL circumstance doesn't cut it.. They need to ammend the law to accommodate for situations like that. Any trying to argue the fact that Learner drivers are ACTUALLY under supervision doesn't mean shit, when we have them ploughing into bus stops and people on our highways. Just because there is someone superivisng them in the car, it doesn't mean they can't f**k up. The whole system is a joke.. 'ROAD deaths involving P-plate drivers in New South Wales in 2006 increased by almost 30 per cent over the previous year, despite a lower overall annual road toll.' http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story...5006784,00.html P-Plater Vehicle Restrictions Under Fire http://www.caradvice.com.au/6587/p-plater-...ons-under-fire/ Bleh.. Inconsitency.
  3. Well that's what you get for having one on us for cheaper cars.
  4. I thought you quit lol
  5. Depends on your area.. The amount of rich kids I see driving around my area on RED P's in mum or dads M3/M5, land rovers, etc other v8's, and those audi turbos.. Makes me look tame.
  6. Just more money for the pricks at the RTA If they made it relatively cheap to engineer/mod plate or w/e your car soooo many problems could be solved.. But, making a profit off the so called 'hoons' is far more important.
  7. Knew it would sell fast, congrats.
  8. I've let two of my X's drive my car.. The french one was used to the European side of things and was about half a metre away from parked cars at all times.. 100m and I told her to gtfo. Other X was fine, a little hesitant to drive it hard, but did well none the less.
  9. Life over here is different to America.. Life here is 25 years.. (For memory) Where as America really IS LIFE.
  10. Apparently he stole that RX8.. So he's in a world of f**king shit when he comes out of there. He WILL do time.. It's just a matter of how the judge views the case. I think 10 years + for sure.. I'd like to see life, but, with the system these days he could probably get below 10.
  11. Just a tip for others worried about their car getting stolen. Etch the vehicle identification number (VIN), or other personal details on several major car parts, preferably In a discrete place on the part, so you have a chance of tracking it if it's sold off in parts. Someone selling multiple parts with numbers over them or parts that have been grinding down in areas to hide something is a give away. Put business cards, address labels, or other identifying information inside vehicle doors, or in hard to reach areas. Or if you want to go all out.. Hidden GPS transmitters.
  12. Going to sound porn.. Go for a straight through system too imo for track days or w/e EAR SHATTERING!
  13. I'll give the game a go. Hopefully I don't get let down.
  14. +1 for the natio being crap now.. Took my s13 through it a few months back and emerged with my exhaust pretty much hanging off the cat by one stud lol..
  15. Ahhh these threads make me feel guilty lol. Always watching my back But then i've seen P platers driving around in GTR's s15's etc on their P's who are hit by the laws.. So meh..
  16. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo My old car Good to see you aren't injured though.
  17. Why do you guys feel you need your OWN autosalon just for Newcastle? You're a short drive from Sydney..
  18. I don't pay for parking unless I know I'm in a danger zone.. I didn't pay once last year at uni along city road and never copped a fine.. At $3.30 an hour and me being there on average for 5 hours a day for 6-8 months.. I saved soooooo much.. This year I've been booked twice.. So as far as I see it, I'm still in the green.

    Re: Advice

I've been in and out of court 3 times over the last 2 years. Won every case. Now after ringing up the RTA to find out what the hell happens with my points here's what I found out. You do not get ANY points back for winning in court. You don't get any points back for serving a POLICE suspension. In my case I served a SIX month police suspension, yet the RTA doesn't give a shit. I would only get my points back had I of completed their following 3 month suspension, which I appealed and won. (Still sitting on zero points anyway) The RTA don't give a crap until you serve one of THEIR suspensions. So if you win, you will be cruising around on zero points. So a while ago I got done for doing a u-turn (on my zero points) and elected to just cop the suspension so I can get my points back after 3 months and have the pricks get off my back.
  20. Good to see you turning it into a beast I heard this deep sounding 33 arrive at DA a month back, looked over and it was you! Did you free up the exhaust even more or was it always that loud? If it were me btw, I'd go coils first. While cams and a port and polish will give a bit more grunt, a decent set of coil overs will have you out handling a few few other cars on the road.
  21. Check out some custom exhaust shops, depending on where you are based. Hi Tech in darlinghurst, liverpool exhaust, some other places too. You can eliminate most unwanted noise through resonators. Just try to source a system that is 2.25 inch or 2.5 inch in diameter.
  22. Not as bad as ns.com aye lol?? Well then.. I'll have to get myself a sau.com sticker for the s13
  23. Mmmm yea I used to have uni touch footy training down at the oval in Glebe at night.. Stopped going cause I was too suss about parking my car around there.. Really bad situation for you to be in there.. Hit one guy and get jumped by 20.. Possibly stabbed too. Or leave it there again as bait wait.. Get him and take him away.. Literally take him away blind folded and drive 1000km's to the middle of nowhere and leave him
  24. Yea but how many of us drive off boost that often
  25. Do you have little outlets on your car for Nos purge cara?? I'm so envious if you do! I would just be pulling up next to bus stops and purging everyone I could.
