  6. Its still a good chassis, as proven at our local drift track already. So I'd probably keep it as a track car. Got an R32 coming anyways so a daily driver is sorted. JK
  7. Basically the bottom of the car was a bit rough, so it required some cosmetic touch ups. This was a precaution because the Engineers are clamping down on visible damage to vehicles etc. Theres one engineer here in WA that will not approve cars even with a dented bumper or with a decent sort of gouge down the side... basically just cosmetic blemishes. My chassis rails were all scraped and looked tardy from being too low... not smashed or anything, so it was decided by the compliance workshop to get this tidied up and to have the underbody repainted etc so that theres nothing they can pick me up on. Also I think my Cefiro is the first in WA to be complianced under the new rulings, so we were having some delays with Side Intrusions etc. Ended up sourcing something from ISOAO or whoever in QLD i believe. JK
  8. Poor LW... sounds like your experience is totally the opposite to mine. so, going by this theory, your compliance will be straightforward and have no dramas what so ever. Evidently this means I am struggling with mine at the moment JK

That site you referred to got parts off Lucas, who runs www.bikirom.com - and supplies all his products from Perth. He has an association with Speedworks over here in WA. He has some top quality developments going on at the moment. His new multifunction boards allow flat shifting, rotational idle etc... pretty cool stuff for a standard ecu!!! Check out his website for more info. JK
  11. The previous owner already rolled my guards JK
  12. Hrms I got some 18x8 with +40.... they best be fitting on my damn car Possible way to get them fit is to adjust the struts to be at max negative camber and the factory camber adjustment set to maximum positive... sould give a bit more clearance. JK

  17. Ive just been given a 11/89 R32 Skyline GTS for nothing so, I get to import another car all over again I'll apply for the import approval next week, wait on DOTARS and get the car on the last November boat or the first December boat. Are customs going to beleive I paid nothing for it? I hope so It will be my second import so hopefully most of the process will be as easy as the Cefiro was JK

  21. Actually, not quite, but, the speedo cable is mounted and there is a little bit of plastic and a spring between it and where the dash connects to it. This little plastic bit goes into the back of the speedo. I am yet to investigate it further as my car is in for compliance atm. JK
  22. Speaking of parcel shelves, under mine in the boot I found a swanky Kenwood amp for the factory stereo SIK! DOOF DOOF JK
