  1. Takes 5-10 minutes to fit. ********Price Drop - $180***************
  2. Could send interstate if required.
  3. HKS Super BOV - dual stage. Everything ready for an R33. All that is needed is to block off the old BOV stock location (closer to plenum). All the hoses and pipe from the intercooler are included. Works well. Looking for $220. Sydney Pickup. Thanks. When it was on the car..
  4. Man -- did the person driving die? That looks pretty bad Sorry not very relevant to your sale.
  5. Is the pipercross cleanable. I.e how long do they usually last. Thanks.
  6. What about my qn ? So it sounds like the standard airbox can supply a fair bit of air?
  7. Sorry to dig up old threads - but I'm wondering where the stock aribox gets its air. It looks like the bonnet would seal it off. I guess it must get it throught the front grille? Maybe some room in there. The standard box sounds like a not bad thing? With a good panel in it is it almost as good as a properly enclosed pod (Im talking on R33 gst, only mod exhaust) Does anyone know if HKS green panel filters are reusable..I.e clean/washable Thanks
  8. anyone? I know it is a very boring qn.
  9. I think I need a little spring. The latch on the centre console doesn't have any resistance, therefore releasing very easily and if you rest your arm on it it can come up as the latch releases Anybody had this prob and know a suitable spring for the job before I pull it apart. Or anyone with a pic Bit annoying it is.. Thanks
  10. Yeah you might be abble to source a dump at a good price hopefully Is 3" worth the effort - going from 2.5" (stock). I guess It must be. Currently got 3.5" from cat back, but restrictions in cat probably make any bigger than 3" dump not really worthwhile?
  11. I dont think it will take 5 weeks to sell, that's a hot price. The CA's go well! With the mods you've done it should be fast!
  12. Impressive!! Is there any reason not to make the front/dump one piece? You should still be able to get it off easily enough right? I might save on 2 flanges. Shouldn't be hard to make. Get some bends, cut to required angle (say $30), some straight section ($50), 2 flanges cut ($60) SHould be about $150 all up. About half what they cost to buy.
  13. Sounds pretty good guys. AVWG sounds ok. I might pursue this. You're right 75 aint much. I'll just take the oil to the mechanic and filter get him to do that every 6 months. For things that arent covered ill do them myself. Cheers
  14. Thanks Ben - Handy to know! I'm intersted getting the boost on earlier for sure. Feels a little laggy at present. Point taken about the POD I think the standard dump pipe is cast iron so I don't think I'll be able to modify my old one. Does anyone know a good exhaust shops that would make up flanges cheap? In Sydney? How much approx for a flange (mild steel)? I gues the one to turbo one and the one to the cat will have to be unique. The 2 in the middle that join the 2 pipes can be whatever they have. Is 3" big enough, 3.5" overkill? I'm not planning on doing heaps of mods. 170rwkw will be plenty.
  15. My new skyline has a 3.5" cat back exhaust. I'm looking to make a 3 - 3.5" Dump and front pipe. What power gain can I expect from this one mod. WOuld it give me 10kw you think, make boost lower in the rev range? What is standard dump and front... 2 - 1/4 inch or 2.5 inch? The car has a pod filter (not enclosed) and a standard intercooler. Sorry if it's been covered before. I was going to make up the pipe myself. Is the standard dump pipe mild steel,, i.e could you reuse the flanges... Thanks
  16. The r33 one is on the net - link from here somewhere. It's only the engine though and a bit of brakes. ABout 400 odd or 500 pages. (150mb)
  17. Anybody dealt with this company. The car I bought came with this warranty but I don't know whether to bother transferring it. I do most repairs myself and the car seems pretty good. The downside to transfer is that I have to get it serviced every 6 months somewhere where I usually do it myself and also pay 75 to transfer it. Does anybody know what workshops they use around Sydney. You can get your car serviced by any workshop but for a repair it goes to one of theirs apparently. Had a look in the booklet and the cover seems reasonable. Covers the engine aup to 2000 gearbox up to 1500 or something. I'm just wndering whehter they would pay for a 2nd hand box to go in if mine failed or something (not that I plan that to happen). Might have to call them and find out! Thanks Ben
  18. Do many accos happen on days/nights like this? 30 cars on the track seems a lot. Are most people fairly responsible? Thanks
  19. Did you guys need a full jump suit (i.e racing suit) and extinguisher mounted in the car for this event (that is now about 2 weeks ago. Do many of them require a racing suit etc? Thanks
  20. Thanks Duncan - Yeah I realise this is over, just enquiring for next one Should be great - got the new rear shocks in (old ones were dead) so I think it may be ready for the track. How much pads do use, I'm about 50% all round, should be alright I'm guessing..
  21. Did you require a helmet - do you guys all own them or do they lend you them on the day? My Dad wants to come a long to one. If we are in one car and we pay the passenger fee also, could he have a couple of drives (i.e. share the driving? Thanks Ben
  22. Thanks guys. Yeah rang up CBC but they werent very helpful - didnt have the tensioner in the computer. Idler was 120 and they wanted 99 for a gates timing belt. Will have to shop arond a bit. Thanks
  23. Thanks fellas – Yeah will probably do it soon. Never replaced a belt but I think I will give it a go. I’ve done a lot of other mechanical repirs so should be ok… Do they usually look really crap before they snap – or can they just go twang? Was hoping to get to the track before I have to replace, just want to enjoy it a bit before I start doing too much work on it (just did the rear shocks. Also took out fronts as the boots were totally destroyed) Belt didn’t look too bad. Have to have a look at the pump to see if it needs replacing. Is the belt tensioner a must to replace? Are these an interference motor? Sounds like it from the concern everyone has…
