The bangbus?

I saw a very very run down old cefiro at strathfield tonight. The car had masking tape holding the headlights onto the bonnet and front bar and i just thought it was some crappy shitbox until i noticed the unusual headlights (looked like a s13 silvia) and upon closer inspection it was a cefiro. Had cefiro written on the bonnet badge and on badges at the side. The car was in a very sorry state. Whoever owns it.... Shame on you!

Saw a silver r32 plates OSH33N at the lower level car park at macquarie centre. It roared in and the BOV sound was f'ing awesome Niiiiiiiice

Around 7pm tonight i saw some dodgy looking thug types loitering in the old maccas car park in Chatswood. They were up to no good i tell you. I came in looking for parking coz i had to meet someone at the library but i left quick smart in case they tried to jack my ride. There was however a very sexy looking white r34... mmmm... beautiful car. There was also a neat burgandy r33 and i noticed a red hot s2000 roaring in as i drove out. Nizmo: Thats exactly what i think is happening to my car too. There is a bad flat spot and i think its the intercooler's fault. The car goes like a Zyrtec when i first start up but after the engine heats up it beings to get sluggish... I need a new cooler

The bar alone would have cost $550 but he did a package deal for me. Give him a ring and see what he says. Top bloke and top service. Blitz all the way Blitz Stainless Steel Pod on my car and the sound is beautiful. I cant really say whether its the loudest or not but i can help but smile everytime i hear the wooshing of air everytime i put my foot down... or off Sometimes, i can get the throttle to a certain point where the pod whistles a continuous tone... i love it!

Kitten_89: Im sure glad my car isnt the only one performing like this I noticed that while cruising, pressing the Overdrive button off will cause the car to drop to 3rd and pick up fairly well I guess i sorted that little problem out... SydneyKid: I always leave it in Power mode (unless its wet) so i guess the ecu's learned shift habits really wouldnt be the problem. Now for that crappy stock cooler...

Is manually shifting thru the gears using the auto shifter bad for the box? Will it cause extra wear and tear?

Ok, I've got an Auto Gts-t Sometimes when cruising along and i want a sudden burst of power, i get a minor kick upto about 80 and then the car seems to plateau abit and not push really that hard... even with the boost guage reading full boost. This is really getting annoying because i like my power on tap and at the moment it doesnt seem to be flowing too well. So, what do you guys do when driving your autos and want some sudden kick? Do u press the overdrive button to turn it off? How do u drive the autos for maximum power/performance? *Edit* Or do you manually shift it up thru the gears? Either i cant drive an auto properly *gasp* or there might be something wrong with my car =( Just another thing, why does my car perform better when the engine has just been started and performance appears to drop after the engine warms up... this little quirk is really buggin me... possible hot air induction the problem? Anyway, thanks for your input guys~!

Hey JiVE, Are you getting the ECU changed as well? What about the dash (to get rid of the shift indicator lights in the middle)? How much will it be costing you for the whole conversion? Parts and labour - everything? Im looking to get the conversion done as well and am interested on price for the complete package. Cheers =)
