  1. Aiiii! She's a beauty Got a name for that baby yet? No mods? You know you wanna do this to her... http://www.worldcarfans.com/spyphotos.cfm/...oid/6051014.001 Not too sure about the J-Lo sized butt tho...
  2. Dont get too confident about your driving skills just yet. I know of too many people, myself included, who have crashed their turbo cars less than a month into ownership because they thought they knew what they were doing. Civic --> FWD with around 80kw from the engine. R33 --> RWD with around 187kw (stock) from the engine. I really recommend the driving course... especially get the hang of the rwd cars behaviour in the wet. Congrats on the purchase and best of luck!
  3. *drools*... If you dont mind me asking, can you give us some info on the price? Any more pics coming?
  4. I would have wagered a bet that your turbo would have blown within the month if you kept it running at 14psi. Its all about what you want: A quick high or reliable buzz? I dont really understand how it works but from what I've read, the stocker experiences diminishing returns after 12psi. Personal recommendation? I reckon keep it at 10psi until you get a FMIC, especially with the hotter summer days approaching.
  5. Oh crap! I just got home after having parked my car there tonight!
  6. Leave it to me I'll take good care of the car for you! As payment for my services, you might need to provide me with a fresh set of rear tires Hehehehe!
  7. I must say, it all sounds too good to be true... Im still waiting for some more positive feedback before i put my baby to the test Also, if i recall correctly, RC Drifters soak their rubber tires in acetone to make then hard and plasticky and easier to drift with... Hmmm? BTW, take care when pouring the acetone into the tank... you dont want to strip the paint! Wiki on Acetone as a fuel additive: http://peswiki.com/index.php/Directory:Ace...a_Fuel_Additive
  8. My girl thinks: 1) The car is for Playboys 2) The car is too loud 3) The car is too fast, and therefore too dangerous But she puts up with it because she knows how much I enjoy driving her... Hehehe
  9. Heres a set for sale http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...topic=84459&hl=
  10. I like it! Wish i had the money tho... Hmmm... which bank to rob??? Hehehehe
  11. How do you safely store acetone? What do you guys use to carry the desired amount of acetone? Would a plain water plastic water bottle do? Whats the sequence of adding the acetone? Do you pour it in first, then fill up the tank, or do you fill up the tank and then top it up? How do you get past the little spring mounted metal flap that covers the petrol hole? Sorry for all the questions but i wanna try this soon and dont want anything to go wrong... Thanks!
  12. I've been trying to sell my car as well but the type of offers that were made to me were bordering on crazy so i've decided to say f**kIT and just keep my car Couple of things about the market though... 1) Many buyers have NFI about aftermarket parts. They just know it sounds good and have no clue as to what its worth and the effect it has on the car's performance. 2) The car market is pretty down at the moment and one of the reasons which no one has raised yet is the new limits placed on P platers. Think about it... The type of people who are likely to buy Skylines are the younger crowd and those with more funds have to resort to buying NA Hondas instead of our turbo Skylines Stupid government! Grrrrr >
  13. Im concerned about the acetone eating away at the rubber tubings...
  14. Have to give Gran Turismo 2 a plug... Really fun game with alot of replay potential, not to mention how fun it was to drift!
  15. Cant stress this enough... MAKE IT OBVIOUS YOU ARE CHECKING THE MIRRORS this means more than just rolling your eyes to check the mirrors. turn your head slightly toward the mirrors every time you check so the person sitting next to you knows what you are doing. Good luck!

    Sony Psp

Yeh the PSP is good sh!t I've had mine for the last few months and i use it all the time. I was lucky enough to get one with firmware version 1.0 which allows me to run homebrew applications and to play iso games off the memory stick. Version 1.50 will also run homebrew and there are rumours that v1.51 and v1.52 will soon be able to downgrade their firmware to v1.50 allowing you to run homebrew. I believe the Australian release PSP will come shipped with version 2.0 loaded which while having the added feature of a web browser, prevents you from running 'unauthorised' software, aka homebrew. I hardly play any games on it... i have isos of many games but have yet to try them out. I mainly use the psp for music, video, photo viewing and homebrew apps. The homebrew scene for the PSP is very strong and there are many many new appz being released all the time which extend the psp's capabilities. Check out: www.pspupdates.com All in all, highly recommended, but if you can, try to get v1.5.
  17. I have a sure fire way to do it for non-corporate cars. International/Overseas Licences do not have any points systems. When the notice gets sent to your house, nominate one of your international student mates to take the blame, write his international licence number down, pay the mate some money for his troubles, pay the fine, and forget about the points! Easy... =) I know a couple of ppl who pulled this off successfully for a speeding ticket around 20km over the limit. Not sure what will happen if you get done for speeding at a level where you'd normally get your licence cancelled.
  18. ***BUMP*** Come on guys, good car ready to sell. Price is negotiable!
  19. *BUMP* (forgot to mention that i have the stock exhaust and airbox too which obviously will be included in the sale) Chainfire: check your email =)
