hey guys i bought a r33 motor off a ebay seller from japan the Motor came in and to my luck it had the following Hks camshafts 260degree Hks cam gears Head was ported and polished and metal head gasket hks 1000cc delphi injectors The Motor has a lot of work done to it which i never new and i bought it for a good price The turbos look to be standard but i cant tell and i cant see an inspection plate I dont want to be putttig this motor in with that much work to the motor to blow it up with ceramic turbos though who would go to that much effort and use standard ceramic turbos? So how do i confirm this

I have a 96 33 gtr vspec motor with a spun rod bearing for sale. Comes complete motor with intake and turbos car done 110k Has a spun bearing. Motor still in car and can run has oil pressure and no shavings in oil very slight knock. Chasing $1000 0410351677

So on the weekend was cruising along until a c63 amg wanted to line me up at the lights so i thought why not. im running stock motor with the following HKS PODS HKS EVC 3INCH EXHAUST TURBO BACK DC COILOVERS The car had burning oil issues recently so i was topping it up every couple of weeks. so we went off on the lights i was running .9bar at the time so like 12-14psi stock. i let of the throttle on 2nd gear because i heard the clacking noise. i pulled over and that was it popped the bonnet and you could hear this bearing knock from across the road. had full oil and still perfect oil pressure so wondered what the f*ck happened. towed the car home ($300) later lol now the motor will come out and i made a promise to myself that i will build the motor for it TO NEVER MAKE THAT F*CKING NOISE AGAIN so the motor is being pulled out by my brother and i becasue we are both fully qualified mechanics. any suggestions as to what ill be needing in this block so it will not happen again i do not want crazy hp im looking at 300kws but a safe 300kws that will not break lol i want room to breathe really. i will be uploading photos of the build and all. so any suggestions whats the best way to go at this as im a supra 2j man and owned them for years but the gtr is just so classy

hi guys i have a 1996 r33 gtr vspec i have recently changed the throttle body gaskets as they were leaking. Changed spark plugs, fuel filter and so on. i have stock turbos with HKS EVC. TURBO TIMERS, EXHAUST, HKS AIRFILTERS i have the turbos running at either .7 or .9 i took my car to natio but its really annoying because it seems to build boost really quickly when i put my foot down theres a bit of pull but by the time it hits 3.500rpm its already hit 1.3bar and thats scary for the turbos sake anyhow so it really doesnt let me give the car past 4 grand with out it hitting 1.5 to 1.6 bar even though the boost controller is set to .9 it spikes every time and really fast. it also miss fired as soon as it goes past 1.1 bar and sometimes before it even hits full boost it will missfire. i noticed the car spitting huges flames out at the natio the other night its never done that before as the car has no major mods... that car drives fine but just hits full boost way to quick for me to even feel any power it just goes straight to 1.3 bar

im changing the coils as soon as i get the funds, ive realised that when the car drives and holds boost at .7 or .9 it doesnt back fire drives fine but its only when i turn on the boost controller it does all sorts of shit
