Cheers, I had a look at my cas it's seemed ok slight shaft play spins easy the only thing that stuffed my up was the rubber I ring on the shaft it was rooted. So I attacked my garden hose lol who says Bunnings don't stick car parts : ) I pretty sure it's coming from the top to mid left side of the cover some where, I found a slight rub mark in the inside of the cover where the most rounded part is pretty much mid left lol so I gave it few good ones with the rounded part if my shifter made it a bit better. I know some belts generate a bit of walk front and back on the pulley could Have something to do with it also. I might just take mine off or cut the whole front out so I still have a bit of protection and can see off hand any problems that may come up. At least you could just grab it and bend it if it starts to rub dunno, might just leave it off.

Ok I just done a timing belt kit on my rb25 all I could get was the gates racing one I was told they are noisy but I I'm getting a noise at idle through the timing cover itself if you hold your hand on it you can feel the cover vibrate. I've pulled in on and off a number of times but no matter how I position it I still get this noise. Can I run no cover at all it doing my head in. It's not too tight either just right.

Hi. I recently bought an ecu that had been tuned but the 3 pages of ecu tuning specs are in Japanese. Could anyone kindly translate as I have no idea what I'm reading? I can email some pics of the the pages to you if you pm me. Thank you.

I've been getting so many random answered reply's to the stock r33 GTST rb25det turbo. Are they repairable or not. Are they bush type or bb, what thrust bearing? Looking for 100% answers as my cars off the road now and need I back together ASAP. If not what's the best turbo to go with that won't cost the earth and spools as quick as the stock one, and bolt straight on. Half the bolt on stuff for these things never just bolt on as described, sending back a Exhaust manifold that's miles out OMG!

Pays to have a real good look first I guess. Found the holes are they a m6 any idea what pitch? Anyone have a spare pulley lol.. What a dick I am!

Ahh no! My apologies!!!! I had a brief look at the pulley. I did see a number of holes but none seemed to be threaded or I would have used my other puller vs hldn type.

Hey. Just had a crack at changing my timing belt on the rb25 and my crank pully keeps breaking f$(ckn cast jap crap pulleys. I'm useing a three swinging finger type puller. never had trouble on cars with real pulleys lol these things are crap!! Any suggestions in getting this thing off before my don't f$&k with me hammer comes out! Tried to wd it tighten back up and lossen, hitting it with timber. Doing my head in. So much for my quick belt change.........

also going to be using wideband to monitor. Has to suit my mods better than stock ecu, read the mods it supports.

Hey found this online so I picked it up. JDM Nissan Skyline ECR33 RB25DET Serires 2 M/T KS ROM Racing ECU R33 Fits Nissan ECR33 Kouki Serires 2 MT Version Mapped for Higher REV Limiter, Aftermarket intake filter, Boost Up, Aftermarket Exhaust USED in very good working condition Anyone familiar with these. I found a older post where someone ran a s2 ecu on a s1 with minimal problems. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/411617-r33-series-1-motor-running-a-series-2-power-fc-not-working/ Can anyone re confirm? I have a low mount mandrel manifold and split dump pipe coming. pod, large front mount, plus free flowing 3" Will I get much of a gain from this ecu? It has some specs but in jap. 7500rpm, 0.75 kg/cm2. Can't post a pick off my iphone. Can anyone here translate it if I can figure out how to post a pick?

Mate I got no idea, I picked up a second hand stock viscous lsd diff from wetheralpark for $250. Manual Diff with 4.11's These things look so close to vs holden diff if the hat was changed or is my memory getting old?

So my new car came with a locked diff it it. Not too bad for when you want a bit fun but it's starting too s&$@t me, parking makes it a pain in the butt and turning at lights going through round abouts. Lets face it it's not a drag car. I want overall drivability back not bang bang bang up my drivetrain everytime I make I tight turn. Is the stock LSD 4.1 diff ok to go back too, are they reliable, like can they take a bit of a flogging

Ok pulled off the AAC valve and it was a bit covered in engine breather gunk. Took the solinionds off it washed in diesel than cleaned with carby cleaner put back together installed, than went for a drive and it's sweet. Purrs like a kitten all the time. Noise behind timing cover has gone but I suspect it's a belt tensioner, geeeeeez $300 for a kit Seen the gates racing one on eBay a lot cheaper are they a good kit for these engines. Also noticed a very high pitch squeal from the turbo like a dog whistle, it's only on very light throttle every now and than. Sounds like and old bluebird CA18 turbo sound. Weirdest sounding turbo out there if you ever heard one. Still hold boost but the pull is not consistent from mid to high revs, only very noticeable. But than again it's got 2 1/2 or 2 3/4 pipe than goes to the rear muffler and reduces to about 2 lol previous owner was defected. Will this all reduce high range power maybe a stupid question to ask. 93 R33 GTS-t do they only come with a tiny front mount?
