  1. It holds boost perfectly the gcg hi flows kicked in pretty similar to when the stock turbos do, Also the gcg had an adjustable actuator so maybe that was set to higher boost. No pretty sure i dont have a leak going to put a boost controller in tonight and wind it up a bit. Then i have to go past racingline and get in dynoed to check that the mixtures are okay with theis jap remap i have got. Thats why im hesitant to wind up the boost and since it's a new motor and the ammount of money thats been put on it i would hate for it to blow up because it wasnt safe. Why what boost do N1 turbos run stock? cheers
  2. hi flows werent to much better they were still abit laggy but when it came on they were good.

I just picked up my car since i had the turbos changed, i was told the turbos were standard but when my mechanic pulled them out they were GCG Hiflows so i rang GCG and gave them the SN and P/N They told me they are standard r32 gtr turbos with a new cartridge put in and steel wheeled. My car was running 14 to 15psi on the GCG hi flows now that the N1's are in i am only running 9psi or so, I havent put a boost controller in yet. Does anyone know why they are running different boost? I didnt think you would upgrade turbos and go backwards thats what it feels like it used to pull like a train motor has been rebuilt and strengthened and the head has had a clean up. I know the N1s are are slightly bigger turbos and are meant to be rated higher than my GCG Hiflows, I am just hoping if i wind up the boost on the N1's i will get that same feeling back i previously had. At the moment i am running Standard Ecu that has been remapped. I have Cam Gears and new fuel pump, looking at buying a Power fc Shortly just want to get the Car dynoed in the next couple of days with the remap to make sure everythings safe. But i am so tempted to put my profec B in from my GTST and Wind up the boost. I know the standard ecu in my GTST was absolute crap are the GTR ecu's just as shit or there not quiet as bad?

I have given my beloved GTR to a friend to change turbos for me, I recently got it rebuilt just want to get her on the road and i spoke to him before and he said he took it for a drive last night when he finished it, and he said the rear turbo oil return line is leaking. I am going to help him out tonight after work do you think it's a big job to fix it? Just want my car back has this happened to anyone else? cheers

  15. I would If it was Manual thats for sure but for an auto i cant get any traction running pirelli pzeros so alright tread lots of fun to drive and Shifts amazing. I have a 180sx at home thats my drift pig with hks 2530 turbo and power fc etc... but I love my Skylines so i might sell it soon.

Yeah Still got the GTST havent bought myself around to selling it yet plus need to get time to run it before i think about that, Im addicted i might just keep them both use the GTST as a daily and the GTR as a weekend car. But i Love the upgrade to a GTR cant be happier with that car and the GTST has been so good to me over the past 6 years never caused me troubles.

I have purchased Nismo 600cc Injectors for my R32 GTR, My Mods Include : rebuilt Motor 2000kms ago with Cp Pistons and Oil Restrictor treated standard Rods and Crank Works Front Pipe Back 3.5" Exhaust r33 N1 Turbos Os Giken Cam Gears M's Intake Remapped Ecu I am just wondering since it's pretty standard Whether i need to put the injectors in or not since i have heard that Stock Injectors Max out at around 300rwkw and that's all i am aiming for since i couldn't imagine the r33 N1 Turbos will get any more out of them. I know it would probably be a good idea to be on the safe side, but i can sell them and buy a power fc and i already have an 044 Pump at home what do you guys think i should do? Cheers
  19. also my oil pressure gauge isnt working properly but i have heard the senders are shit so might have to put an aftermarket gauge and sender in to be on the safe side

I got my r32 GTR on friday and im loving it such a nice car to drive but im trying to be nice to it since it's freshly rebuilt, Sounds really tuff and goes pretty hard considering it hasnt got to many bolt ons yet. Except i was looking under the bonnet on the drivers side and some things leaking looks like its the hose to the power steering pump. its squirted out oil onto the strut tower. Can anyone help me out has this happened to anyone else? Also how long should i run it in for? I have purchased some R33 N1 turbos for it i thought since its got a built bottom end i might as well use it. I have noticed my motor is a little bit more noisy than my friends gtr, does forged pistons make it a bit louder than one with standard pistons? I still have the GTST but going to the GTR is a big difference i think im in love. since i think my power steering fluid is leaking should i switch it to RWD through the torque splitter? cheers any help appreciated.
