  1. i work for holden and have for a while, i have driven basically all of them including most of the VE HSV range, for what it's worth i really dont rate them. Handling is nothing like a jap car and they are really not fuel efficent. i used to have a twin turbo supra and i have been in alot of GTR's and you cant beat these as a complete package. handle well are quick and better on fuel. It just depends what you want but i suggest you take them for a test drive before you make your decision, then you will know what i mean. The clubsport is good in a straight line torquey down low but just not exciting to drive.
  2. yeah the combo works well with the auto i recommend you do that.
  3. got it to work had two wires switched around the wrong way, what an idiot anyways working now. i suggest you get one if your looking at buying an air fuel controller, i like the display of the neo over the old safc2 both similar but was getting over the SAFC2 since i had it in for 2 years so a bit of a change.
  4. thanks everone for the help i will let you know if i sort out the problem.
  5. stuff it im leaving work now im going to figure this out hopefully the SITC came in to today so i can wire that in 2 but don't really want to do it untill i start the car and figure out this problem.
  6. i wish i had the stock AFM still so i could test it do you think my Z32 setting are right? Thanks
  7. no i didnt i reinstalled it because i was aware of that?
  8. havent tried looking at the fuses might try that after work i really want it sorted as i cant stand to see her the way she is, plus cant stand driving the barina i have at the moment the 180's off the road too and cant afford to fix them both straight away and the skyline was my first choice.
  9. i have double checked everything twice over i might try to wiggle the harness and see if that helps, it sound like it wants to crank over and all the sensor readings on the neo look alright. the safc2 i had worked straight away, really not sure what im going to do?
  10. Now the car wont start, all my stuff got stolen so i have ordered everything again and just installed the afc neo ignition turns on and everything the computer lights up and everything i have double checked the wiring and it looks all good and played with the settings in the AFC and because i have a z32 AFM i put in 2in 4out and it won't crank over sounds like it wants to start but just doesn't. i turned the fuel pressure down to 45 psi used to be on 60psi thought that would help but it's just not happening. Checked over everything put a new battery in and everything. Has this happened to anyone else before? Can anyone suggest anything to help me? are the settings i put in correct. thanks any help appreciated.
  11. i feel for you happened to me a few weeks ago not a good feeling. What's wrong with people some people have no idea. Anyways i hope you find them.
  12. if anyone has one that they want to sell can they pm me? thanks
  13. God damn it might have to look for my old setup again, I was happy before but after it got stolen i was going to try something different since apparently the EMU ran Auto Transmissions, but after reading that don't know if i should bother. Since Sydneykid knows his stuff i'm not arguing the SAFC/SITC combo is the way to go.
  14. i'm waiting for the emanage Ultimate to arrive so looking foward to the outcome, I will do a comparision once it's tuned. My old setup against the new one. Shouldnt be to long!
  15. us the r33 Autobox and speak to MV Automatics in Adelaide Their Jatco Specialists Mike is really helpful and they are excellent to deal with, Shift kit made a big difference to my car. He will fully rebuild and strengthen the Auto with kevlar clutches and new bands, so i recommend giving him a call! If you need any conversion parts let me know.
  16. The SITC and SAFC2 is a good combo i made alright power with it, but they both got stolen so i have decided to go the greddy emanage Ultimate path as i think it will work a bit better, and the SITC is always hard to find. But if you can find it, it is a proven recipe to work and work well.
  17. has anyone else tried it on an Auto r33?
  18. Yeah that's what i thought thanks for that i will send him a pm now.
  19. Hi everyone, i have got the greddy emanage ultimate Universal pinout harness below as well as the original Rb25det and Rb26det pinouts from the manual as well as the Plug and Play harness for a GTR and a R33gtst below. Im trying to figure out which harness i can buy and maybe modify to suit the Auto, To me there is no difference between the GTR and GTST pinouts except the Extra Airflow meter pinouts. The universal Emanage Harness has no pinout that controls the Auto, so if the standard ECU controls the auto side of things. Then why wont the Manual GTST or GTR harness work on the Auto? Just Trying to fnd away around butchering my wiring harness. Greddy_Ultimate_Universal_Ecu_Pinout.doc rb26det_and_rb25det_plug_and_play_harness.doc
  20. tried to contact him all last week and pm'd him hasn't got back to me yet, but hopefully today. Really want to put it on cant drive car otherwise so in desperate need of one.
  21. Thanks for that will pm him now and see if he can help. thanks just in a bad position as i want to order it today and would prefer to plug and play than wire it all in myself.
  22. About to order the Emanage Ultimate for my Auto r33 gtst, Would the plug and play harness for the Manual Transmission work with the Auto because as far as i know it say's for manual transmissions only. Or would i need to buy the universal harness and wire it in myself? cheers
