  2. i went the safc 2 and the ITC path too, did alot of research and spoke to alot of people and as much as i wanted to put an fc in it couldn't bring my self to doing it, sure i would have got more power but i didn't want to jeopardise my gear shifts, as thats the only reason i wasn't happy with the car.

  5. shifts are alot better no flaring on changes, very happy with it feels alot nicer to drive really have to play with the accelarator now it spins alot on gearchanges overall im pretty impressed.
  6. getting it put in today for $220 with a service and the transmission cooler put on, and since i don't have a hoist and my car is to low to get on ramps i have no other choice otherwise i would have done it myself. i will let you know how it goes looking foward to getting it back, the auto shifts have always shit me the cars got the power but i agree it flares to much but i have always liked the way the car drives so hopefully if it doesnt flare and i will be really happy.

Valve body arrived today with transmission cooler, just trying to figure out which auto workshop to go to, does anyone know any workshops in melbourne around the s.e suburbs which i can go to? and what price am i looking at to get it installed, trying to put in b4 friday because i want to drag it on friday. thanks any help much appreciated.

Hi just wondering if anyone can help me out i have searched the forum and called a few transmission places today, couldnt find any locally i just want to know if anyone else has fitted there valve body and transmission cooler and how much did it cost? and if anyone can recommend any workshops for me to go to, since alot of places i rang seem to have no idea whats going on. I was planning on running it on friday so im trying to get everthing organised. Thanks any help appreciated
  11. thought i would list my mods since i have an auto r33 Hks frount mount intercooler 3inch turbo back exhaust with metal hi flow cat GCG hi flow turbo 450hp Greddy profec A boost controller Apexi Safc 2 Apexi Sitc Bosch 040 fuel pump Sard Fuel regulator hks cam gear (not currently installed) Standard injectors Z32 AFM Stock transmission just with tranny cooler Mv Auto Shift kit (in the process of buying) I Have had the car for 4 years have considered converting to manual but i have alway's liked the auto. I got car tuned a couple of weeks ago and got 196kw at the wheels before i maxed out my stock AFM on 10.5 pounds. Last week bought a Z32 afm and retuned the car and made 229rwkw on 14psi. but now worried about the transmission since i have already blown one and don't want to kill another so i am hoping the shift kit should be able to cope with the power alright. It is yet to be run will go to calder when the Mv valve body is in.

  13. got a perfect condition S1 r33 turbo only done 60,000kms took out due to upgrade never boosted absolutely no shaft play looking for $350 ono perfect upgrade for an r32 includes elbow.
  14. i have been validating them both for the last 4 months, and been for a drive in most off the new hsv's and their is no way they will hit into the 12's they might have added a few more killowatts but they have also added the weight so i would expect the new GTS to do about a 13.5 or 13.6 but no way quicker than that.

  16. thanks gary i tried to do it my self but i couldn't get the water line off so i had to put it all back together, i thought it wouldn't be that hard but after all the stuffing around i would rather just pay for it and let them deal with it, so you think the hi flow shouldn't be to much different than the r33?

  19. i recently bought a gcg hi flow off an r32 gtst is this worhwhile putting on my r33 gtst or is the exhaust housing to small? does any one know the difference between an r32 gcg hi flow and a r33 hi flow i think their rated the same horsepower, if any one can help me it would be much appreciated. I have the following mods on my Auto R33 gtst, 3 inch turbo back Exhaust HKS Front mount cooler 440cc Injectors 34 GTR Fuel pump HKS pod and CAI Sard fuel reg Apexi Cam Gear Apexi Sitc Apexi SAFC2 Z32 Air flow meter Transmission Cooler MV Stage 2 Shift Kit I am looking at finishing it off and buying a either a GCG hi Flow or possibly a Gt30, I don't want a shit ebay turbo or anything like that these are my best options since i want a garrett turbo and i would prefer ball bearing, I just want to know what you guy's think i should do i really want to run mid 12's out of the auto what turbo do you recommend for my goal i would love to get around 260rwkw do you think this is acheivable with my current list of mods? and is their anything other mods i can do to my car that will give me more power which is worth while doing? I was thinking about putting Cams in but i'm not sure how well it will work with with only having an SAFC2 and a SITC for my engine management but i know this the only way to go with an Auto since i don't want shit gear changes. thanks any advice appreciated.
