Hi Guys, is there anyone out there that has converted to single turbo etc. on the RB26DETT that has the rubber inlet hose for the front turbo that goes from the hard inlet pipe (attached to the front of the turbo) to the AFM?? it is shown in blue on the attached diagram or does anyone know what size pipe this is? or will a silicon 3" 90 degree hose do?? Hi Guys, sorry, did a search but couldn't find anything solid. I have an R33 RB26DETT engine, which has a damaged wiring loom.. I need to know if there is any difference between a loom from an R32 GTR engine as opposed to an R33 one?. I know there are differences in the power/alternator sub loom (esp. with the battery location etc..) but on the sensor / ECU etc. loom is there any difference at all? thanks guys

anyone know offhand white size socket is needed for the balancer bolt on an R33 RB26? looks like 29/30mm? but i don't want to buy the wrong one in preperation Kent

Hi Duncan, thanks, but the FAST software doesn't go back to the 70's (unless you have one which does, in which case i would be greatly interested ) i have the physical parts manual for the car which lists the numbers, but i am not sure how nissan would advertise the superceded numbers etc.

2nd that, if the airbox sale falls through, i will snap it up (don't need the snorkel)

good thinking, not sure why i didn't realise that before! any idea what belt you used to fit it up to the RB25?

nik, how did you go with the L6 pump on an RB? did it work out for you (looking at doing similar)?

Does anybody know how Nissan parts treat older stock? I am trying to get a few parts for my 240k, and i have been told that some of them should still be available from nissan. I have an old Parts manual which gives me a part number such as 96935-R3700 (rubber gear boot insulator) I spoke to a relatively new nissan spares dealer and they said their nissan warehouse program did not recognise the part number, he tried 5 other part numbers for various parts too. Does anybody have any insider knowledge in how i should be going about chasing up these parts? or if there are any dealers around willing to go through the pain of tracking down old bits.. or are they just not available after a certain time period (ie. they dump their old stock) Kent

can anyone confirm that there is a difference in dimension between the radiators on the series 1 and 2 cars? with the series 2 being shorter (and why? is there something mounted beneath them?), looking at aftermarket radiators there is usually 2 listed for the R34 GTR

depending on prices, i could be interested in the 918598 (R33 street >500hp)

what's the extra $5000 spent on the motor? at this price it obviosuly isn't anywhere near standard?

was that $8800 for the engine and gearbox?

Hi guys, got the starter motor hopefully sorted now.. I also need a rubber shifter boot from an R33 GTST gearbox (the one that fits around the very bottom of the shifter, attaching to the top of the gearbox, not the car) Thanks Kent
