  2. i plugged my PFC in. BANG. New car. Wheel spinnage. awesome power increase. and after the tune ?? well the tune got me 285bhp I so love the drivability of the PFC and the hand controller graph views are just totally awesome. Id suggest the PFC to anyone.

  4. what power should be expected from a rb30det with vct pfc hks t04e supra fround mount intercooler malpassi adj fuel reg I had 285bhp with a smaller VL t3 / t4 hybrid with the 25 (engine has done about 188,000km) Would the turbo and bigger engine break into the 300's ??

  8. go to settings and go to ign/inj and take out some timing. go to -3 and see how it goes. take note that once you stop the car the setting resets back to 0 again so you have to do it again. Also try chucking more fuel in it to. raise it in small increments and keep an eye on your knock sensor.

  11. I Purchased the turbo from Brisbane myself. Its not hard for me to send to you mate. PM me if you are interested in buying it. I will send anywhere in Aust. Dump pipe will be added at no extra cost & I will also add the oil line which was modified. Will bolt up to your exaust if you have the standard dump pipe. BOLT ON AND BOOST TO 20 PSI with no threat of destroying your turbo as this unit has a STEEL REAR WHEEL Drifta: Love how the side of your car looks..
  12. there is a oil line which has been modified which i will swap for your standard banjo type oil line. I will also include the dump pipe so it will bolt up to your car with no fuss. Water lines fit standard (just bend them a little into place)

I got a VL T3 Turbo with race bearings just fully overhauled with new seals etc and put back on the car last week The front is standard housing with a T4 55MM front wheel and the rear is standard (rated to 450hp and 35psi) Will sell with modified dump pipe to suit R33 skyline (should bolt straight up) I ran 285BHP on 13 psi with this turbo Looking for around the $900 mark Turbo will be off the car within 2 weeks as I am upgrading for the RB30 conversion

  15. ive got a VL turbo on my r33 and NO it does not bolt straight up. the oil line is completly different. I had to custom make the oil line from the turbo to the block and use the r33's return oil line. The water lines need to be heated and bent into different directions also. if you look at the pic where the oil goes into there is a plate with 2 bolts that bolt onto the turbo. R33 or R32 did not use this as they just banjo connectors. Its not a direct bolt on. but would go well once installed.

  17. I was also told that the RB30e bottom ends dont have the turbo return line which is on the front side of the exaust manifold and that you also have to make up brakets for the power steering pump & air conditioning. Is this true ??

  20. Yes the engine must be blown. its using 2 litres of oil every 2 days. thats not good. I did the seal in turbo on sat and same problem. So where do you get these fittings from ? and what fittings do you need exactly and what about my problem with the dayco timing belt? why dont they have that part number listed??

  22. Ok Guys now its my turn. After getting my PFC and dyno at 213rwkw the engine only lasted 2 days before blowing lots of smoke. The engine has 186,000ks on it so I guess this is RB30DET time. This is what ive done so far. 1: Parked car in garage stole miss's laser 2: ordered rings / bearings / geniune nissan head gasket 3: organised a shed to do conversion 4: organised RB30 bottom end from Commodore shop newcastle $100 (series 2) 5: wishing i knew what parts to order from what supplier. What exactly do you need for the VCT modification & the timing belt and idler pully. I have read through and got a dayco part number however my car parts supplier called their dayco distributer and they know nothing of a 94470. Can anyone help ?
