this was my first SAU event, and i was there to witness the 564rwkw run that moanie ran!! Awesome job....i don't wanna suggest that u may have slept your way to that power figure though Still your proper run turned went well 233rwkw or something like that wasn't it?? Ended up staying till 5.10 or so this arvo, where we had a few decent r33s come out at the very end. 2RISMO ran with and without NOS (awesome graph with the nos, vertical curve!!), RNMENC pulled 285rwkw in r33 gtst and then got pipped by BD2880 (forum name ECR033) at 286.4rwkw or something like that. All in all good day, although i didn't really know anyone, and was nursing a hangover (as a few others were obviously) so i didn't really go out of my way.

lol at least it worked out well. Still, shoulda got his licence plates and told the cops...either that or followed em. Was any damage done to the car?

this sux. Did it have an alarm installed? Most the ones i've seen taken recently had no alarm or immobiliser. But surely a gtr would.....

if you are in sydney, i got quoted for ultimates on my r33, $87 for fronts from auto-one in anzac pde kensington. That was about 6 months ago but was still heaps cheaper than repco, and autobarn which had quoted me 130 or something

For sure, noone has the same tastes so don't listen to what others think. If you buy something cause others like it but you don't really you won't be happy with it. As POOMBAH and arep said just figure out what you like and do it.

air flow meter. Its on the air intake, tubular thing just connected to the airbox or pod filter depending on what u have. Will have wiring and a connector on it. You can spray out the inside with circuit board cleaner or something, but be careful with it cause u can damage it and you'll then have to buy a new one.

i don't agree with elk entirely, without a fmic i was only able to run 9psi (in an r33) before engine started pinging, however once i installed that i was able to increase it to 12psi safely, so mods do allow higher boost to be run. Once you get to a certain point though the turbo will become the weakest link in the chain, not sure what that is on an rb20. With the boost increase you should feel more pull under acceleration but probably won't spool up quicker. Would probably have to look into dump pipe and larger cat amongst other things to help that.
