  1. I say its cheers definitely, its doubtful that its Hi all.
  2. there was a nismo front bar for sale in the classifieds here yesterday. Check it out maybe (for an r33) Other than that not sure soz
  3. I've got an AVCR loving it. Pretty much has 3 stages, off, A & B so its handy, plus holds boost well and gives good readouts as well as functionality. As one of the other guys pointed out PFC is not boost controller, its total computer that you can buy a boost contoller attachment for if you want.
  4. That JCI thing is only if you get 3rd party property only and pay a bit extra for theft and fire coverage. If you get full comprehensive it covers total agreed cost of car (i think its agreed value...not sure). Don't worry too much about the manual thing. when you get your green p's you can drive manual anyway. If you intend on buying an auto shouldn't be too many probs. Good luck with the test dude. As for the parents thing. Just tell them that buying a skyline is a good way to get the bitches, that'll convince em for sure.... haaha EDIT: should be noted that it hasn't actually helped me in the slightest!! But maybe you're better looking LOL
  5. The instructors like you to show how competent a driver you are, so if you can hand brake it around a few corners, maybe some slight drift action, they will be very impressed. Lighten up the mood in the car a bit by pumping some loud music then hitting your brakes in time to it. seriously though just relax and drive responsibly and it'll be all good. If you've been driving a little bit you'll be fine (i've seen some terrible drivers passing their tests),
  6. yeah i've fitted a hybrid kit to my r33, for about 700bux. No complaints so far. Does the job good.
  7. I had similar problem, cleaned out dirty AFM and got my 100K service done and that fixed the problem
  8. Sure its not the tappets?? Before they get oiled up?? I used to get it in my commonwhore a bit on startup.
  9. EDIT: I'm a dumbass. Sorry brain fry No halfway should mean 7psi. 7mmHg is about 1bar (14.7psi). Stock should be about 5psi till 4500rpm then go up to 7psi.
  10. Hmmm i'm more of a vl fan for sure. It was my first car. Just make sure the cooling section is clear and pressure tested, cause they have a habit of cracking heads (as mine did) apparently there's some mod that can be done to stop this happening. Still i reckon they're better looking, but thats just personal preference. Get a calais, they're the sex
  11. yeah small town cops have nothing to do but try to exert their authority. I'm sure there's some skyline owners up there man, seen and heard of em a few times. Still, if i'm up there for chrissy and i see ya i'll wave
  12. hey dude got this problem in my r33. Apparently usually its the fuel sender that falls off its bracket and into the tank (assuming its same on r32). Just need to open tank and fish it out.
  13. not legal on p's in victoria, and same in NSW, not sure about other states. Forget it till you're 21 dude, sorry to say.
  14. hey dude i come from coffs, but live in syd. Still go up there a bit to see family, theres a couple up there, an r34 and r33 that i know of, and the guys are members of this forum so they do exist. Good luck with the move
  15. hmmm don't think that logic works out man, car is accelerating (hopefully) not travelling with constant velocity EDIT: Oh wait you didn't just double the time. Sorry my bad...
  16. yeah dats it, ta wink. They look the goods.
  17. man let us know how this goes, i'm sick of getting shafted by dodgey traders. Hope it all works out for you.
  18. i've never had to do it, but seen them advertised here http://www.hioctaneracing.com.au/index1.php Not sure which state you're in though
  19. yeah i'd be interested, always got that paranoia that my motors gonna pop so would be good to see what i'll have to do if it does
  20. yeah i'm not even gonna bother, anything i make will look shit!! Oh well i'll buy one off maxx i guess, bit more expensive but they look good
  21. if by miracle you still make them (which from yout last rushed posts seems doubtful) i'd definitely like one. They look mad. Cheers
  22. Hey, recieved my fronts today by courier!! you're right they're so heavy Haven't fit them yet but look the goods and i'm really happy with the service, price and goods. Thanks Paul, will look forward to doing business again in the future.
  23. lol sounds like a bit of a sales pitch.....
  24. just allows u to put the boost pressure up more man. Get a boost controller or bleed valve or something, then you might feel the difference.
  25. it is possible that the relay is fused closed. I work in electronics repairs and we come across that kinda thing a bit. Might not be but is a possible scenario
