  2. If its a daily driver sometimes hard to avoid parking in places like this. Glad to hear you still have your car man, thank god for immobilisers ey
  3. ahhh fair enough, just thought you may have been really drunk
  4. Ummm is that english??
  5. 1st to about 55km/h 2nd till 100km/h 3rd till 150km/h 4th till 200km/h ??? 5th....not sure, mine still has speed limiter so i haven't been above that. These are the values i got out of the manual, also i've tried and tested, seem pretty close
  6. i do a lot of long distance trips in my r33 gtst, its about 3000rpm at 110km/h and i'm about the same as blitz around 600kms per tank....although mine is pretty stock, just pod and exhaust Nice smooth ride, although once again stock shocks probably help
  7. hahahah way too much time on your hands!! but well done
  8. yeah but the point being that californian standards are apparently a lot stricter than australian standards.
  9. i'm' just hoping that when SK and the others get the testing done it passes. Not only cause i bought one but mainly cause i want to rub his nose into it!!
  10. BTW guys, i've got a skyline for sale that some dude down the street said looks like a honda. I believe him straight away without any verification so i'll sell it to someone cheap. Some people will believe anything without any proof if its the more interesting way to go.
  11. oh....just noticed you're 16
  12. If you're desperate to get the one in melb make it a road trip. Good way to test out the car you've just bought, 2000km of driving will show up any problems!!! Plus can be some fun, take a couple of mates.
  13. damn i wanna change my vote after seeing them pics, thought you meant stock series 1 bar!!
  14. I had a bit of a read through that forum thread on ns, its interesting he also said this "The Magic new technology metallic substrate catalytic converters flow up to 50% more so are less restrictive than traditional high flow catalytic converters, and meet the RTA's requirement for having a catalytic converter fitted to the vehicle. For those who are really concerned that their vehicle passes emission requirements the NSW RTA offers a free testing service." Did anyone know about this?? Very interesting!! So we could've just taken the cats to the rta to test......huh. Anyway still wanna know how this turns out.
  15. could be dirty afm or a fair few different things
  16. yeah definitely fight the height thing, they can't have rta inspector check it say its fine then the coppa give you a fine for it!!
  17. whoa man thats like uber posing. It'll just look stupid imho, sometimes i don't even like carbon fibre ones being a different colour. Ultimate waste of money i think
  18. good to see someone looking out for other peoples stuff though. Good work man.
  19. I can see it now: "Its a story, about a man and his Catalytic converter. Stuggling against the odds to clear his name, and finally be re-united with his exhaust" Rivetting stuff, reckon we could get Russell Crowe to play the lead?? And someone like Al pacino to play BATMBL's part. hahaha
  20. I'm excited!! this is the showdown of the century, beats all that shapelle corby sh1t for intrigue and suspense by far!! they should make a drama miniseries about this i reckon!! EDIT: SK if those girls in your pics are in your crew, can i be too?? I'll do whatever you want, fetch drinks, clean the floor, polish your engine bay (thats not some sort of sexual metaphor either, it was literal). I'm beginning to think that i'm definitely in the wrong field!!!
  21. if you're worried ya can just stick some low strength locktite on the screws anyway
  22. they both look pretty good to me, I personally wouldn't be fussed
  23. thats not a bad idea considering how they're talking about price of petrol being well and truly over 1.20 a ltr and not coming down. I'll be interested to see the response also how much power could be expected to be lost.
  24. hahah i don't blame you about not wanting to do another group buy, but cheers for organising this one. Excellent job
  25. Yeah got mine today too. I'm not too worried about that other stuff, i'm gonna get mine fitted soon. It does look like its coated with something, and theres residue inside the tube, so i think it should be all good. Thanks again Shaun, champion effort mate, if you're ever gonna do another group buy (of something i need ) i'll definitely be in. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend ya. Cheers
