Damn man, seems like theres been a lot of this in recent months as GTST was saying. Hope they get your car back man. i don't know how they can live with themselves. Good luck mate.

i wouldn't get too stressed until the verification comes through man. I don't see how they could call it a catalytic converter legally if it didn't actually catalyse properly. I don't wanna wait though lol

this is getting very interesting now. I'm hoping that magic passes the tests but if it doesn't i'll be interested to know. shaun: Don't worry man, if it does happen to fail none of this reflects on you, you aren't a distributor or salesman for magic, just someone who went out of their way to organise a group buy. Noone would expect you to know. Even if it fails i'll still stick it on and worry about it when i have to get epa tested Hopefully though it all goes good and this is just a false alarm. BATMBL: The thing i like most about this forum is that people go out of their way to help others for no particular reason. I'll be the first to agree that i'm a cynic, but i think you should have stated this thread as mre of a question about the legitimacy of magic cats, rather than stating it as all fact when you have no hard evidence to show us. Of course if it turns out you're right i'll be appreciative for knowing, but i'm not sure you went about it the right way. hopefully hear soon anyway

BATMBL i am on noones side in this whole affair, but so far all i've heard is pretty close to slander. Without any real proof you have publically accused this company of fraud amongst other things. I'm currently buying a magic cat, but i'm not defending them, in fact if what you say is true i want to be the first to know. I'll quite happily take it back and buy a catco to replace it if thats the case. I think you ought to be careful and get some actual evidence before anouncing these theories publically, also i find it hard to believe that this whole matter is totally out of caring for us and has nothing to do with the current trend toward buying magic cats on the forums and in group buys. However i am quite cynical. Anyway i just think that a bit of proof of some sort wouldn't go astray, a lack of evidence does not constitute guilt as far as i'm concerned (are you sure you don't work in the indonesian legal system?? ) Nor does some of the heresay you've been using. Once again, if you do get some proof please post it asap cause i would love to know.

In the apartment complex we used to live in some kids scratched up 3 cars with rocks (unfortunately mine was the worst and requires a full respray to fix) even worse was that we never found the little bastards. Probably lucky though or i would be up on murder charges!!

Yeah... i'm sure of it....they're both nissans... Skylines by the look of it. -
about 700 or so for a kit
-
for it to be a fuse, your fuse box will have had to melt or something to short between fuses so a quick check will show you if this is the cause (i have seen it happen to a vl commo) but i doubt it. I'd guess wiring short somewhere, but i don't really know much about where the wiring is run in skylines to be able to tell you which area to look in. If its recent the workshop you got the conversion done in should be able to fix it free, if its something that they've done. EDIT: Sorry just reread, fuse could possibly be cause of power window probs.

Lol nah i got cousins and inlaws who are lawyers i'll get mates rates

Lol what a mad keyboard warrior. Sadly i'm not as stupid as you may think. Sadly; because people like you need to believe that anyone that thinks the same way i do is stupid, simply because you cannot conceive that people may share different opinions. It makes a dictatorship easier, shout down any opposition. My opinion is not only based on bad encounters, but on what i know of my various mates who are arabic, and their mates. Like i said, these guys are good to me, i consider some of them my close friends, but the morals they have seem like they're from a different planet from mine. At 19 i doubt you're in a position to be the most wordly and informed guy to be speaking, at that neither am i, but at least i'll admit it. Just realised too that you're doing a law degree which means that you're learning to be a professional argumentative bullshit artist (sorry another generalisation), so i'm not intent on changing your opinion, mainly because i don't care, but also because i don't really want to. You're entitled to your opinion as is everyone else on this server, and unlike you i won't go calling you a stupid ignorant moron for believing the way you do. If you read through this thread you'll see there are plenty with different opinions. on a side note thats a pretty funny jpeg babylon. Anyway back to the topic at hand, these personal slanging matches have even less to do with the original topic than what it was turning into anyway. ps how good was big brother uncut.....well not that good but much better than normal big brother!!!
-
lol your argument was "in school they teach us that generalisations are bad" Genius. Come stay in sydney for a while and see how you feel. I also think theres a bit of a difference between 200 years and 15 years dude. You can keep your opinion for all i care but don't go spouting your holier than thou bs. I'm going to watch big brother uncut hahahah catch yas

The fact that everyone is so scared of stepping on racial toes is the reason that things have gotten so out of hand. I've got arabic mates and some of the shit they do makes me want to see them deported. If you look at the country which they come from you realise why they behave as they do, because it is acceptable over there. Even second generation ones have had their morals passed down from their parents. Don't get me wrong, i don't think every single one is bad, but i do think that it is a majority simply because it stems from their origins. In most cases what they think is fine behaviour, i think is pretty wrong. Maybe we should have a giant intervention. :aroused:

nah man, you won't get anything, dont worry. After reading that conversation between yas he definitely let ya off. Count yourself lucky!!

New R33 GTS25T Member - Turbo Mods
shif_tea replied to MYR331's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
hey dude, congrats on the new ride. Theres actually a lot of threads on here about the same sort of stuff (pretty much anything you want is on here). Its up to how much you want to spend i guess. I don't have a turbo timer as i don't like leaving my car running without myself around. As for boost controllers they range from cheap bleed valves for like 60 bux to electronic boost controllers (Apexi AVCR which is what i have, HKS EBC and a whole lot of others) If you're willing to fork out the extra money or if you are after fair sized power numbers i think you need an electronic boost controller. Once again if you want in depth information just use the search function on either of these, should come up with heaps of answers. -
i'm pretty suyre he would've written you up a ticket if there was a problem. You may have just gotten off scott free!! gw if thats the case

Intercoolers: How long do they take to install?
shif_tea replied to RedEmblem's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Thanks for the advice, i've been wonderin that for a while. Would it be cheaper and easier to a) buy pre-made cheap piping kits (like the hybrid style for about 450-500 bux) or b)get someone like micks metalcraft or something to make up piping and fit it?? No idea what cost that would be, but if its only a little more even than i'd prefer that I couldn't be bothered measuring, working out bend angles etc etc to make up my own (plus i know i'd stuff it up!! )
