dirty afm??

VL commodore 87 model. Stock NA rb30e. 17 inch chromes, 2.5 inch exhaust, stereo system, Lowered suspension. No real engine mods. Mad car, but busted head so i've got it in pieces in the garage fixing it before i can sell it. Still love my r33 though!! p.s i hate you people who had your parents pay for your cars!!! haha jokes, lucky bastards

Got my car tagged up badly a while ago by some kids with rocks. Scratches on all panels (pretty much anyway) so i'm looking for a full respray. The scratching isn't down to metal cause they were only young and there are two small dints, 1 in bonnet other in pssenger side rear quater panel (very small). Just wondering: a) Does anyone know someone good in sydney (west prefferably concord - parramatta sort of area) that does a good full respray. If someone knows someone who does good, well priced work outside that area i'm quite happy to make the trip. B) What do you think the price will likely be (just wanting my standard stock metallic silver - R33 series 1.5)?? got a quote of $5500 excluding front and rear bumpers (500 each extra for them) and i've been told by some that that sounds pretty rich. any help will be much appreciated. I've ordered an avcr from nengun, he was good at responding to my emails and i got the item 10 days from when it was paid with no extra charges at all. All in all i would definitely buy from him again (save me 200 off rrp in oz). Also i've heard that stuff like power fc's etc are free of duty because they fall under some clause.

Man i think i would just die in the ass if i walked down and found my line missing. I was spewwing when i found out some kids had scratched $5500 damage into it. Best of luck, i'm pretty passive but if i see it da sh1t will hit the fan. Keep us informed

you poor bastard. Crimes against cars are worse than crimes against children...cars can't fight back at all. I hate it when people say "you shouldn't have parked there without full comprehensive insurance, a 6 way immobiliser and satellite tracking" should be able to park your car with the windows down and keys in ignition (in a perfect world). cheers boyz. If i can get a new colour for about the same price or just a little more than i'll be definitely doing that...maybe a nice blue I thought that seemed a little bit high. I'll talk to fibremotive and maybe another few decent paint shops. Also i'm gonna definitely move asap before i get it resprayed as i don't want to tempt them to do it again. Okies, got my quote of $5500 to respray the car the same colour (without the front bumper or rear bumper a grand extra for both them) 2 questions. Does anyone know what sort of price i would be looking at to get the car repsrayed an the colour changed?? And also does anyone know a good/cheap body shop in sydney metro to get it done (note: i don't want it cheap and nasty, just some people who can do a good job and aren';t rip offs). Still haven't heard whats happening with the kids, or if i'm gonna get it paid for. The mechanic i haven't talked to yet either. Think i'll wait till the new year/

Hey on the topic does anyone know who does good skyline gearbox services in sydney?? I've got the same problem but in 3rd gear. Also my clutch is dying so im not sure if thats causing the problems or if it just needs servicing.

nah i just bought an avcr. i was gonna do what paul suggested but heard a few dodgy things about the boost control kit that goes with the PFC. PFC and AVCR will work good.

Hahahah i have to laugh, 4 days after all this happens i drop my car off to mechanics for a service and leave it the day. Pick it up in the arvo and find a big scratch on lower back right hand corner, with yellow paint all over it. looks like someone has backed over a small post with it, hasn't dented the bumper though. I know for a fact it wasn't there before i dropped it off cause i was showing people the kids handiwork just before, however mech denies it and says it musta been there when it was dropped off. This week just getting worse. Apparently the scratch work can't be repaired cause its too deep so my entire car needs to be resprayed.....so over it all

man if it takes a few weeks to reply go to someone else. Try Brent at nengun, Ordered avcr and he replied to emails within a day or so. I've just tracked it to sydney about 10 days after i payed for it. He's pretty cheap too.

Sorry man don't mean to hijack this thread but i was wondering if anyone knows at what point you need to upgrade afm?? Pretty mild mods on my line at the mo, so don't need it yet. But wondering

hahaha yeah...its a gut wrenching experience coming out to your car to see shit like that. Cops came and took all details that i'd found out. Then they went to take pictures of the 3 damaged cars and talk to the boys who told me about who had done it. Thats the last i've heard so far. But i have had millions of daydreams about what to do to them if i see em about. Like the idea about throwing em in the boot and dropping em at blue mountains or something (but don't really wanna go to jail). they said if the evidence is solid the parents will have to pay repairs, but i'm not holding out too much hope. I'll keep yas informed anyway. man i really feel for you other guys who have had similar attacks. Firing squad offense i reckon

After a bit of investigation on my part i found a few young kids who saw the other little bastards scratching up the 3 cars yesterday. Waiting for the cops to arrive as i write this....hopefully the little bastards (who live in our complex) will be flogged to within an inch of their lives and forced to pay for all the damage.

lol true...after not sleeping well last night we asked around the apartments this morning and turns out we've found 2 more people who have had this done yesterday at around the same time. One of was worse than mine. A group of kids aged between 10-15 was seen hanging around too. They won't live to get their first root if i find em. They just used rocks from the gardens by the look of it....
