Thats about right for a series 1, 93-94 model. Get it checked out by NRMA or probably better would be to pay CRD or Unique autosports to look at it and tell you what condition its in. Also shop around a bit man, can get some real bargains if ya wait and look, few people on this site are selling usually and some of em are very nice.

i've heard gtrs is a pretty good replacement. I don't have one personally, but appararently not to much response loss over standard and also much more powerful. Heard of lots of people using em to get 250rwkw Theres a fair few threads about this, search and see what ya can find

i got a quote from jetspeed for around 3500 for same colour respray. I've heard that you can slightely change colour of your car somehow with not too much difficulty. ie, my car is silver series 1.5 r33, i wanted to get it the gunmetal series 2 colour...is there a way to do this without all the hassle of a 8k paint job??? Mind you its by no means a show car or anything, but i would like it to look good

I've been pulled over and defected in my stockish 95 gtst. totally stock body. I was parking in the rocks, when a police officer came up to the window on a bike and told me to follow him. I'm totally australian, was on my own and was just going to a moving away party. I was polite to them, got defected for a couple of minor things but all in all they were ok. I don't think its always the fact that you are middle eastern, rather the fact that you probably get agro as soon as pulled over and feel hard done by (i've got a few leb mates and i know they have absolutely NO love of the police) which gets them offside. 2GU UP, i've seen your r32, its a nice car but surely you know its gonna draw attention, especially at night. Like other people have said too, i guess it depends on who you get as a cop.

thats why the r33 are so much better lol...maybe you could purchase an aftermarket super flare just to outdo us. Yeah i'll have to think of something interesting to do with it. Maybe douse a mate in bourbon and throw it to him....hahah jokes. guess i'll just keep it, never know when it might be needed, carjacking for example

I've had my r33 for nearly a year and have been meaning to ask this question since i bought it. I found a red road flare mounted under my glove box. Just wondering if they are in every skyline and also if it would still be ok to use (as its about 10 years old now i'm assuming). Finally if i get drunk and decide to do party tricks with it do i just need to pop the top off to get it started?? (note: you will not be held liable for any stupid crap i do ) Cheers

Hey dude, do a search, theres plenty of threads on here with the old high-flow vs aftermarket turbos.

i'm pretty sure it comes in a kit and is a direct bolt on. If you log on it gives you some info, plus theres a few other alternatives on there as well. Heard good things about the HKS GT-RS though as a direct replacement on the r33

hey man, for prices on these things try www.nengun.com if you don't mind waiting a little while (a few weeks anyway) for the parts to arrive. It'll be the cheaper way of doing things. I've heard the HKS GT-RS turbo is a good replacement, with not too much lag and good power. Also check out the Power FC from nengun as they are pretty cheap and arguably better than the wolf (depending on who ya talk to) also theres a fair few people that can tune em now. Talk to Xclutch about the new clutch, theres a fair few people using them and they're much cheaper than the japanese alternatives. Dunno about prices to install things some of these things.
