Sigh...wish i had've just paid to get it installed but stupidly i installed my fmic kit myself last week on my r33 series 1.5 A couple of problems i encountered and wondered if anyone knew any simple ways to sort them out. 1. Anyone have any ideas where i can mount the horns?? Theres 2 of em, and not a lot of room. Just wondering where others may have put them. 2. Is my ic piping going from the inlet manifold out near the wheelarch on the left side (from the front) supposed to be close to the alternator mount?? Mine is and i'm worried it might rub a hole in the piping. I've just put some rubber between the 2. 3. BLinkers on my front bar are being pushed out by the intercooler. Not sure if the only thing to do is to move the intercooler back. Anyway if anyone has any good ideas can they let me know... Much appreciated. Caine

Hey did yas have to relocate your horns?? CAuse i've got 2 of the bastards and not sure where to fit em!! Any pics or ideas would be good. I'm in the middle of installing at the moment too. Sorry, but noones replied to my question will i be able to join if i wear dresses and makeup?? Not much of a cross dresser but if theres some funky girl stuff goin on in this club i'm willing to learn. Stace has a good point though (not that i really care if there's all girls clubs), Would you girls be offended if we started an all boys club and you weren't allowed to join at all?? Yeah we use them all the time at work. They're really good, didn't realise they were THAT good interstate though. Would expect that kind of speed inside sydney itself but thats mad. Cheers

hey dude, is that the normal r33 door moulding (that has the handle and p/window controls etc in it) or is it carbon fibre?? Looks weird from the pics. Also where are you at?

nah no display of duty either. They must not have installed it properly. I know they said they had difficulty cause the one i gave em had jap instructions ( i kinda thought they would have had some english ones around ) Anyway i've gotta take it back again so i'll ask about it at the time. thanks man

Man that sucks balls. I'm with you, cops are pissing me off. Had my line scratched to the shithouse by some kids with rocks in my apartment complex, cops didn't even come out. After some detective work on my part i found some other kids who winessed it and knew who they were and where they lived (4 witnesses, saw 2 kids do it), called the cops, they came out and had a 2 sec look at my car, then i gave them the info i had found and they went off. Didn't hear from em until i chased it up weeks later and they just said "ummm we couldn't get enough info" Seriously don't let these sleazy mofos get away with it, nobody leaves it 5 weeks to report a car stolen!! Shifty f*ckers

hey raf, u have an r33 ey don't you?? during the install do you need to move the horn at all?? My horn is mounted next to the fan protruding in front, but the hybrid install ionstructions don't mention it. Any hints for install would be much appreciated. Cheers

Hey all, Did a search for this but couldn't exactly find the answers. I just got my AVCR installed into my R33 the other day. They set it up at 7, 9 and 10 psi (off, a and B setting) however on my display i'm not getting any readout from throttle or rpm. The boost setting reads properly but i'm just wondering if they haven't hooked up the other sensor wires from the AVCR to the computer or if there's some other possibility. Haven't asked them about it yet just thought i'd do some asking around first. Cheers

I'm a bit suspect when people start to try and sell me too much, i've been ripped off enough now. Thanks man, Yeah i know about the thickness, i was just suss cause these guys were really trying to sell me everything. Wanted to replace rear pads as well when i know they have 80% meat left on em. Was just worried that by putting aftermarket rotors on the front and leaving stockers on rear it'd stuff things up. Anyone know if the Mu secret ones are ok?? They're only for street use and rarely cop a flogging. They are the SCR 8 slits ones. Or does anyone else have any recommendations?? Cheers again for all the input :matrix:

Hi yall, Went to get my front pads replaced and discs machined cause i knew they were at deaths door. However the mechanic (it was a Midas) had a look and rang me to tell me the rotors were too ratsh1t to machine. Now i can't really see anything too wrong with them, and another workshop had a look about 10,000 kms ago and said they could be machined. They were trying to push their new rotors on me but i told em not to worry about it, just put the pads in. Anyway supposing the rotors have had it, i've found some front slotted project Mu rotors on nengun for cheaper than they wanted to supply the stock ones at this place. My question is, do i have to upgrade the rears at the same time or would it be fine just to do the fronts at the moment and follow with the rears in a while?? Not sure how this would affect braking etc etc. Its going into unigroup tommozz for 100k service so i'll get them to check the rotors then and see what they say. Any help would be much appreciated Cheers

hahah this is funny, I've spent about 10 mins trying to think of something to say.....but words fail me. I'd be very interested to see a commodore that you could make as efficient, powerful and handle as well as a skyline on the same budget. Plus theres always the undeniable fact that skylines look oh so much better!! EDIT: Just realised he's 21 and lives in Perth. I wish i didn't waste my time replying now, he's got no hope
