  1. i had the same problem till i got my 100 k service done. Dunno what they did but it fixed it sorry not much help i know
  2. i've heard they normally use the anti-carjack passenger door lock button, press something down the window and push it unlocking the passenger door for easy access. A lot of skyline owners disconnect this switch for that reason bummer
  3. yeah i've got stock 225/50r16 tyres on my r33 (on all 4)
  4. shit man sorry to hear that. I would be devastated if i got my line stolen. Good luck with getting it back i'll keep an eye out for sure. It looks like most of the lines that have been thieved recently haven't had alarms or immobilisers in them. Like lingeringsoul said, if you need a hand dishing out vigilante justice i'm sure there will be a few people on here willing to help out.. Once again man hope u find it in 1 piece.
  5. sounds very very suss to me
  6. cool, i'm a bit skint this month cause i just bought new wheels but i might look into doing this soon. Cheers guys
  7. i think r32 gtr rotors were the same as r33 gtst but i'm possibly wrong. As black32 said, gr33dy is selling them in the group buy section. I bought 2 off him for r33 gtst and was very happy, cheapest i found anywhere including ebay and was genuine. Check it out
  8. I've had like zero professional driver training, is this kinda thing ok for that?? Or would there be better places to start?? (not interested in being race car driver, just want to control my car better)

  10. Ummm yeah i usually shift down for stops. revving till 3000-4000 rpm gear changes. If i do have a few days or so where i'm driving a bit more....spiritedly, then fuel consumption is worse. I'm a service engineer so i drive a fair bit during the week, the line is better on fuel than my old commo was.
  11. ok you'll prolly get flamed for this cause theres actually a few threads around asking this question Check in here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...p?showforum=146 I think the general concensus is to stick with single plate, i just bought one for my r33 from group buy forum, seller called C&B, exedy clutch kits. Haven't fitted it yet but sposed to be good for 230-240rwkw. A few others have fitted em and said they were good. Other than that the XClutch ones (which are the ones sold by hi octane racing) are good too, and Jim Berry up in QLD comes highly recommended Anyway good luck with it
  12. I've used nengun a few times now and have no complaints at all. Each time it was around 10 days from time of payment till i recieved the products and i saved a lot compared to prices i found shopping around locally. I'd definitely keep using nengun unless of course it was something i needed urgently, but thats the same with importing anything.
  13. there was a cheap stock one for sale in the for sale section a couple of days ago
  14. i can help a little bit, "I have Ichi crotch" Which means of course "i have 1 crotch" in japanese (unless the person you're speaking to speaks english in which case it means "I've been sleeping with the wrong type of woman") p.s as u can probably tell i'm bored and don't speak a word of japanese
  15. ask nengun, they sell some do-luck kits, shipping won't be cheap though. Prolly around 3K all up (just got that price from the price of the other do-luck kits on his site so its just a guess)
  16. yeah i get over 400 km a tank, usually around 450 or so in city traffic. When i do trips up to coffs harbour, ie freeway etc, i use like 7.5L/100km which i think is awesome. Tested it a few times now. Mines only mildly modded R33 gtst, hi-flow cat and catback zorst, pod, AVCR, FMIC etc
  17. think the 040 is internal and 044 is external
  18. Yeah i'm looking at the same sorta thing. Anyone know what the nismo pumps are like?? they're about 350 or so from nengun
  19. What sort of pump would u upgrade to if u want over 200rwkw?? ie like around 210-230??
  20. haha i have this same sound but only happens when air conditioning is on. I thought it was the compressor seizing up (well maybe it still is)
  21. yeah i'm with slide, as it rotates at such speed, you need to have it balanced well or its just gonna self-destuct, maybe next time doing more damage. I'd say get it highflowed or rebuilt by pro's, failing that buy a working second hand one for a couple of hundred.
  22. So you ran a red light to do a u-turn and a cop was there?? ........
  23. they don't always have signs saying that in nsw but u-turns at lights are illegal unless otherwise posted
  24. could always buy one of those apexi ecv's and fit it. Although the only thing would be that you need it kinda urgently i guess and waiting from nengun could take some time. Bad luck on all this mate.
  25. Finally got it all sorted, BHDave was right, it was 5/16" i needed. Looks like when i got my 100K service done and they replaced my fuel line from the top of the filter to the manifold, they put the wrong size hose on, a 3/16" one. This time i checked the one that the NRMA guy put on (the one below the filter, which is the one that burst) and realised it was 5/16". Wish i had've read BHDaves reply earlier, bloody mech that replaced the fuel line must've been a dud. Quick question, will the fact that the fuel hose was too small have starved the engine of petrol at higher revs?? I'd noticed it wasn't running as well as usual but don't know if that was the cause.
