Advan neovoes AD07s.. High performance street tyre.. GRIP: 9/10 i say.. Best street tyre i have driven in so far.. They come stock on some cars.. Everyone in japan uses them as well!! in the wet, they suck if you really wanna push it.. But normal driving in the wet, they still grip!! But these rubbers are designed for dry conditions!! If i had the money again i would purchase the ad07s, or the pilot sports!! Hope this helps!! lol..

Why would you even bother to write something stupid like that on the forums!! Without any modification list on both cars and its history!! Which hills? There are millions of factors involved.. The driver comes in to factor also!! Was it raining that day?? and so on and on.. But who knows, maybe the celica has better handling.. I got my ass wopped by a NA r33 thru the hills once.. Comes down to the driver and suspension setup.. Pretty sure my mate had coilovers and sway bars.. Mine is stock.. So having a turbo car didnt mean shit.. Im sure if he drove my car he could have driven it 10 times better.. So yea.. maybe the celica could win.. but comes down to so many factors..

wow 50 psi front? i just left mine at 30psi all round.. but i had semi-soft compound tyres (advan AD07s) But yea go down to 25psi.. that should be enough

I seriously have no idea how you can test out weak sidewalls? well put it this way. With the Advan AD07s on the fronts (with 1 or 2mm of thread left) i wasnt screaching around the same corner at same speed with say the Toyo T1rs.. maybe becuase i need more pressure in them? But i set mine to 30-32 front, and 30 rear.. But either way the t1rs handle well and feel good in the wet as well. As the ad07s are more suited for dry use.. Everyone in japan loves those advan ad07s..

I run toyo t1rs on the front.. Before this i was using advan ad07s all round.. However the fronts didnt have much thread left.. BUT i loved the rubbers.. Grip was still supurb Anyways if you can afford ad07s then go for them.. Trust me.. But will be over 400 each Still runnin the advan ad07s on the rear and love them.. Anyways back to toyo t1rs.. They grip well and the thread is lasting for ages.. Im actually going on a track day in a months time.. So i will test out the t1rs .. But to be honest, get your suspension gear all done!! Sway bars, good shocks and springs, castor rods etc etc.. This will help a lot more around the track.. But if you had to choose out of the list you have given us, then i would go for the t1rs.. Well priced and grip well!!

lol is flat spots same as misfires? ok ok i know its not the same!! Coz to be honest, with full exhaust, pod, more boost, stock cooler, stock ecu.. I had flat spots everywhere!! really sucked driving.. thought i turn boost down.. didnt help (1.1 plusg gapped at the time) So i changed plugs one day to 0.8.. biggest smile ever.. car felt like a 180kw car Heat range of 7 may i add.. Since then, no problems at all.. but you can still feel a few flat spots, but not as much as before.. At next oil change, im going to go for a heat range of 6.. Test that out and see what happens!! Maybe even buy standard 1.1 plugs and see what happens.. guess my problems is that i need a tune.. I dont think i have ever experienced missfires in my car.. only flat spots even runnin at 1.1 gapped plugs.. or could it be that those plugs where old? and owner from japan didnt replace them? Hope that helps.. but maybe this help a few ppl: Standard boost = BCPR6ES – 11 12 psi = BCPR6ES – 8 Up to 19 psi = BCPR7ES – 8 Over 19 psi = BCPR7ES – 6 EDIT: ohh another reason why most people regap there plugs to 0.8 is because the tuner says so.. I know my friend who got his car tuned got told to regap his plugs to 0.8 before coming in.. So now hes passed that info onto me.. Tested it and actually felt a huge difference.. Not becuase i had mis-fire issues but to band-aid flat spots issues, till i get a pwer fc or similar..

^ hes cleaned the aac value and even changed afms.. i cleaned my afm, and it didnt help at all.. For my 100k service, i got a enviro service done, which basically cleans injectors, throtle body, fuel lines etc etc.. With carby stuff.. That helped my idle issues by 75%.. Actually for the first two weeks the idle was perfect!! then after that, it only does it sometimes (on a really hot day ie. hunts around 500-700 at most) Maybe give that a go.. Plus it will make you car healthy and its good to clean out all the crap that comes out of your engine!! esp if the car is ike 10 years old Otherwise go back to the tuner, and see if he can fine tune the safc once aagin.. gdluck n let us know what happens..

yea theres some guy who recently bought a silver s2 up near that area.. Copied me i tell you!! mine looks better tho hahahahh nah seen two series 2 around caringbah/miranda area now.. guess they must like the silver like me
