I suggest you turn down your boost, till you tune your car. Run about 10psi.. Anyways, your car may be just running heaps rich!! Tried cleaning your fuel injectors with carby stuff? this will help clean the system and make it idle a lot better.. Clean your AFM as well? hmm Which exact plugs did you put it? You sure you didnt put in the wrong ones? Search threads such as rich n retard.. stalling issues, backfiring.. etc etc.. You will find plenty of info!!

Im pretty sure you will need to take the back parcel shelf out as well.. In order to do that, im sure the side plastic bits need to come off.. plus seat belts.. Im gonna be replacing my rear shocks tomorrow, so i will be doing the same.. I might take some pics if you need them..

Man i must try this red gooey stuff. Coz i got new rotors and pads on the rear (Rda rotors +endless pads) and they squeak like a mother F... lol I got new stock nissan pads on the front, and they dont squeal at all.. Its so embrassing stoping at a light or slowing down.. Everyone just looks at you!! Trust me its not just a little squeal.. But i guess you are right Dave32.. more agressive pads do squeal a shit loads.. should have just put standard pads in the rear, but i got these endless pads for free!!

Just buy orginal stuff i reckon east bear front bar, and carbon bonnet for yours.. With 400r skirts!! and gtr pods!! for 400r skirts n gtr pods, justjap or unquie autosport should have them.. as for eastbear (powerplay imports) nah so what kit you wanna get?

If i had the cash, i would hiflow the turbo, buy a power fc, upgrade injectors, upgrade suspension gear.. upgrade my side mount to a fmic.. n get a tune, with set of cams.. n go all out on music system.. hate car being stock uni student with casual work= poor sigh.. hmmm

yea buying one tomorrow from repco for 20 bucks.. Cams approved it says!! Btw what pressure should i run? or is it personal choice in the end? or trial n error? I will just run standard street pressure (30-32 front, 30 rear) Btw one of my rear tyres does have a nail in it.. OMG hope the tyres dont pop!! shouldnt coz its been in there for months, and my car is a daily driver.. Or should i go check it out a tyre shop and get it out? Yup windscreen blades are in good nic.. My rear shocks are leaking (well driver side only), but i bought some standard 2nd ones, so will be replacing them soon. Alignment seems fine.. Will go and get my adjustable castor rod checked to see if its perfect still.. Yup its some motul stuff i bought from just jap.. Doesnt say the model number on it tho N yup wil be taking some tools down as well.. Also i fitted a adjustable sway bar in the rear.. That should help me a bit, with still standard suspension (just lowered springs)

I got some endless pads in the rear (not to sure of exact model- got it free from my mechanic).. anyways they squeak hard-core at times.. Maybe they are high temp rated.. But im gonna use them on track day, and maybe just swap or sell them afterwards? n go back to standard nissan pads!! they do the job well for normal street driving..

hey everyone. . Im going track day in 2 weeks. So thought i ask what to look out for and what to prepare before track day?? This is my first time Basically things i have done: 1) new rotors +pads front and rear (had to replace them anyways) 2) Bought some 5.1 dot brake fluid. 3) new engine oil and plugs in already (well tomorrow) So is there anything else i need to know/check Im pretty sure someone made a thread about this a year ago.. I use ELF for engine oil. Will post up specs when i get back from work if you need it.. But i have to say, best engine oil i have used by far!! Forumula 1s fav oil!!
