  2. Toyo T1rs on the track had huge amounts of grip!! very happy these rubbers.. But only got them on the fronts.. Rear advan ad07s.. anyways i could predict the front, and toyos never failed or became to hot or any other issues.. Just thought i let people know!!
  3. i would like to know as well.. i put dot 5.1 in for track day.. track day is over.. would i need to flush it out? what can a replacement fluid be for normal street use.. Nsta- Just use standard nissan pads.. they do the job fine for normal street driving.. If not, i like the project mu's Have used them before and work very well..

Theres another 33 with same rims, with 400r skirts (i think from memory) and gtr wing.. looks nice Heres an update to mine: painted in gunmetal.. Might have to give another coat
  6. ahh shit.. 10psi is 0.7 bar.. this whole time i thought it was 0.8 bar.. but yea.. run 10psi most on the stock 33 cooler..
  7. ^ For -- (stock ecu, turbo, smic) 1) you car will be running rich firstly.. Every skyline does!! lol 2) You will see more flat spots with higher boost levels.. 3) Running high amounts- your plugs may foul up.. So you need to regap the size.. to make up for it.. 4) From personal experience and seing it from friends car, when they first started. 5) on a hot day, having that bit extra psi or so wont help you at all.. Car will feel slugish when you really push it, more so with higher boost.. Im just speaking from experience, and i maybe im wrong.. Your car may act differently.. But i found that running that bit less boost, made my car more responsive.. ie i turned it down from 0.8 to .7 bar FACT: At the drags.. Im like lets run more boost.. at 0.8 i got like 14.5 at best for 3-4 runs.. A guy suggested to me at the drags to turn it down.. so i did one notch.. got a best of 14.0 flat.. BUT who knows, maybe my reaction time was just better... Maybe others can back me up on this? either way my car feels better runnin a bit less boost.. that is 0.7-0.75 bar.. I felt no flat spots at track day.. and i still got stock ecu, turbo and smic.. rang him the night before to confirm meet up.. he goes his dad ran over it?? hmmm 250 does seem pricey.. But they normally start at that price and drop down.. to 150-200 Cost that much because they know its a cheap upgrade for the 33.. Very good coolers.. They do the job.. 0-300kw.. has been proven.. Many threads on this topic.. Cores are all the same.. Comes down to which copy has the better pipings.. AS for cutting the bar on the s2, i will confirm with you tonight. My friend does cooler installs.. So i will ask him about the series 2.. Otherwise im sure there are heaps of members on here with s2, with fmic..

  10. 0.8 bar.. had no problems at the track day.. mods: full exhaust, pod.. thats it.. no other mods.. including still stock side mount.. It all depends how you look after your car and the current condition of it..

  12. um cost him 1k max from just jap.. Not to sure if they make them for series 2 tho.. This was series 1.5 i believe.. Series 2 are a little different. Best carbon bonnet i have seen is either east bear stuff.. I remember yonks ago, there was a guy from interstate that made it himself for this 33 gtr.. Maybe search for that thread!! Heres a few pics of carbon bonnets: Not exactly sure if they are real or just fibreglass.. But just some pics for you!! and i got lots more.. but cbf lol.. Check out topstage.. he sells nice bonnets!! But i wouldnt bother with one to be honest, unless its a plan design, without the huge whole in the middle. Water and other crap will get on top of your engine!!! not good !!
  13. friends old 33, with one from justjap.. Cheap copies dont line up properly.. Theres always a little gap.. as you can see looks awesome none the less.. Buy eastbear stuff!! $$$ but worth it..

  15. I would like to know this as well. As i remember reading a very long time ago, that if you end tanks have a crack or leak, your pressure will drop heaps.. But im not sure about the core itself.

  23. Checked nengun, and they dont sell power fcs.. so goodluck finding one for 800 Also check if your stock clutch can handle the extra power once its all tuned etc.. So you will need more money there. its a money pit dude.. 2k wont get you anywhere sorry to say.. thats if you want aftermarket ecu etc etc.. Spend 1k, and put 1k into savings!! theres always litte things that will pop up!! good to have some savings
  24. ^ if you can get your hands on a power fc, then go from there.. (remember they stopped making them!! hense why the prices for 2nd hand ones are past 1.4k mark ) I suggest, you use your money wisely. Hunt around for a power fc first. that should be 1.5k max hahah your money is gone now.. It all depends what you desire. POWER? looks? Bit of both? style? Maybe get a set of rims?
  25. Not worth the money for the ARC.. way to expensive.. Get a 34 cooler for 200-250 bucks max.. Even if you are rich, still dont bother with the arc lol.. Unless its a full fmic..
