Hey everyone. Currently got custom made adjustable K-Mac sway bar on the rear of my R33. It is much thicker than stock item and i could feel the difference in terms of the rear being a little more stiffer. I bought this item 2nd hand from a friend so i got it at a really good price. This is a little more expensive than whiteline. So i was thinking of purchasing some thicker ones from the front- either whiteline or cusco But i wanted to know if its safe to have mis-matched sway bars? The reason i ask is because each sway bar is a little different in terms of adjustment!! Also whats the best setting i should have the sway bars for normal street driving?? All at lowest settings? that is not so stiff?? Cheers for the help Sidd. ps heres a pic of the sway bar:

Hey champ So sorry i didnt check this thread.. My mistake.. ok, one of the shocks is leaking (the right hand side).. Its not that bad to be honest. I was driving around on it for some time, and i seriously didnt notice any knocks etc or saging.. I will take some better pics of it when i get back from work. Postage is about 35 bucks to melb.. Via bus freight who i normally use. Just the springs - postage is 15 bucks. 2 shocks Plus 2 springs weigh about 15 kgs.. Let me know if you still keen cheers

get the right offset firstly when getting new rims.. For your sedan it should be anywhere between 30-45 lol.. Go to their shop and get it fitted, if you still insist of buyin rims from tempe.. Theres plenty of rims on sau for sale section!! Should have checked that out first.. looks like you learnt the hard way tho.. Edit: i hope you havnt put chromies on your car..

Friend had some g4s.. one shocked leaked from just normal driving under 2 months of use!! WOW.. but they replaced the whole shock for free.. so warranty wise they look after you.. however, they are pretty stiff when driving sydney roads..

When you called the station, you should have made a complaint..

I have driven a 33 with gcg hi-flow, and responce was pretty good actually.. full boost by 3.5-4, which ok is a little laggy.. But god damn does it pull!! hi-flow might be cheaper than gtrs as well..

I have a feeling its your boost controller (t-peice) Ok so i tested my friends turbosmart single stage controller. On lowest setting it was still at 0.6 bar-0.65 bar- spiked to 0.8 bar at times.. im like, hmm lowest setting and its still more than stock boost (0.5 bar)?? *confused* But sorta didnt bother me for a while... Anyways, put my old gfb bleed valve back on, and i can seem to turn it right down and be stable.. I mean, it will still spike at times under full load, but that would be normal since we do have bigger exhaust, pod filter etc.. (since more air is still coming thru, its pushing more in) Thats the way i think of it. Maybe try another bleed valve and see if it helps in any way.. Ps- change all your spark plugs again.. Then check after a week and see if that plug is still going white.. If so, take it to a shop n see what it could be..

Friends tell me its freaking loud.. but im just use it now.. hahah Where did you get your evc from? also how much!! Edit: Noticed you wrote straight thru pipe with no mufflers.. So i mis-read it.. Ok yours is loud as well.. But how cool does it sound eh lol??

YO get project mu's... They are stop really well, and you can afford it!! Or just get standard pads for everyday driving.. Edit: For R33, it will take you 15mins each side.. I did mine the other day, and im a noob at mechanical side of things!! lol.. If i can do it you can too.. lol ohh and all i need was a screw driver..

Yea its a bit out of my price range as well.. Those are about 2k without rubber.. Plus postage.. So im still thinking about it.. P1- hmm lookin for 1.3k-1.4k without rubber for the fronts.. Rears come with ad07s 40% thread left.. these grip heaps!! 400 plus retail price per tyre... Anyways, still considering.. Otherwise, i might just professionaly powder coat my rims..
