    Yay Rain !

there roads are 10000% better that the average qld road! that's the big problem and at least the germans slow down when driving in towns, etc. these bastards were doing 120+ on a road like corro drive. when they smash, they smash good!!
  8. what out for wotif.com during school holidays and peak nights like NYE, Christmas, etc. If the hotel is sold out on wotif, call them direct, they may have other rooms available. Also try some of the Breakfree apartments. at that time of the year, apartment places perfer 5 to 7 night stays.

    Yay Rain !

I just spent some time working in Abu Dhabi (near Dubai) - speed limit on the highways is 160km. around town it's the same as us 80/60ish. the highways are great a little like the M1 to the coast, 4 to 5 lanes. NO trucks are allowed out of the outside / slow lane. slow cars take lane 2 & 3, and the 140+ is left for the inside lanes the BIG problem is around town - the 60km. getting guys that hit 160 on the highway to slow down to 60 in town... doesn't happen! spotted some smashes in town that had up to 10cars involved.
  10. spotted a silver R33 SII on Dayboro Rd at about 4pm today, I had to turn off the quickly so didn't get a plate. Dave?

    Yay Rain !

I agree! I also spotted 3 accidents today, 2 that had damage to side of the cars. On another note, watch out for the carpark at the new Ikea. I was parking in the loading bay area - the surface was like driving on ice. Only doing 10km and still got sideways. then almost went ass up walking into the place. Who needs Mt Cotton... joking

  22. Sorry, I'm out of town... Last year I took a mates little brother to his formal, only took an hour or 2 at the most. got to see some great cars. apart from feeling like an 'old bastard', it was a good night. good luck in finding someone!
