I just check with a friend in the insurance industry. He said it’s common for the owner of the vehicle to pay the excess. IF they recover the cost from the owner of the dog, they will refund the $$ BUT, if you kick up a fuss about paying the excess, they MAY be slow to organise the repairs… always the way! He said different companies will handle it in different ways – as Col stated above. Good luck!!

IN Don't count the vegos out - they can do salad, baked potato and a bread roll, but they'll be surrounded by big hunks of meat!!
