About 2 year ago I test drove a 98 coupe - had side airbags and a sun roof, I'd stay they are options on both S1 and SII. I remember this because there was a warming light indicating one of the side airbags was stuffed. Afro, u back from melb?

I think Dan may be refering to me as the 'new guy' in qld. I've got a bayside but it's S1 I haven't seen Afro's S2 but I think he has an AF front bar. that's a S2 by the look of it. I'm not sure how the plate fits, but should be fine. good to see another bayside!! nice looking machine!

front bar did change mid 2000 (approx Jul/Aug??) - S1 vs S2. front seems ok for S1 - some spacers will allow the plate to sit out a little The back is a bit harder to fit post some pics if you can...

Hey Afro, thanks for the reply!! will give you a call/pm to catch up. still seems strange I have 3 pipes blocked. I was wondering if it once had an aftermarket boost controller, when removing it they just blocked the pipes. I've been told a turbo timer was once installed and had been removed before i got it. search the forum for 'Turbo pressure sensor' and didn't find much. especially couldn't find anyone blocking them. still a mystery, unless anyone else has any ideas? forgot to add, the standard boost gauge seems to be working. boosting to approx +.5 or a bit more. I think that's normal for a stock R34 GTT any ideas??? anyone else have these pipes blocked? I've tried searching but can't seem to find much on this. PEAR

Hi Guys, Think this relates to the “Tutorial / DIY / FAQ” HOWTO: RB25DET High Boost mode with standard solenoid??? But blocking pipes instead of cutting wires. I’m very new to this and could be miles off track!! The car – R34 GTT (S1). The main mod that I know about is a 3” pipe turbo back. Originally it had no cat, but there’s one there now - not high flow at this stage. It seems to be running ok, but as I haven't driven may other skylines on the open road, I don't have much to compare it to... Can you check out there photos and tell me what’s going on? Any + or – this will have, etc… I'm having trouble uploading pics, but here's the attachments for now; Location of blocked pipes 1 - Turbo pressure control solenoid??
