thanks guys had a guy look at it and turned out to be a POS , low compression on 2 cylinders , been in a accident , brakes gone, weird noise at 9000 rpm's...i will be offering like $8k

lol your soo right ...i have wroekd on sr20's all my life and when i look at a rb26 im a lost fool lol and because i classy myself as a backyard mechanic and unlike sr if i stuff it up cheap as piss to fix or replace but rb26 is a total new ball game .....

yeah the steering hweel and gear boot shagged...no ebc only boost restrictor removed.....having a guy doing a full vehicle inspection tonight doing a compression leak test....owner did say 100k service not done called JMS quoted around $2k for full 100k service which i will factor into negotiating price but wanted to do the gaskets turbo gasket etc which prob be another couple g's so it is slowly adding up

Yeah owner said the steering wheel came from japan as it and he prob has worn it down but it doesn't add up ....and when I opened the oil cap looked very sludgy is that a indication of it being f*ked ????

The Intake has a fc cover on it but I did notice paint peeled ....is it a big issue????

yeah the wheel is DEf gone and will need to be replaced.....down the oil cap also looks abit sludgey

will the flywheel fit r33 gtr???

hey guys looking to get into my first gtr coming from SR20det silvia's all my life. Yeah the steering wheel came already on car when from japan which i was skeptical but then roaming the web and searching globe-auto japans the GTR specialist i seen a few 33 gtr's for sale with the 34 gtr wheel ....

i did see that and was keen just the hassle of travelling to view it etc....i will buzz them now cheers

yeah thanks mate well i put a small deposit on the bassis i said i will need someone to check it over etc and he was happy with that and willing to adjust price accordingly. just the problem of finding someone who knows their stuff to do this as organising the car to a workshop etc will be a major HF . Anyone know of anyone in Adelaide who can do the check for cash???

yeah i went to look at it ....it needs the 100ks major service and has a blown exhuast gasket which makes a weird sound but reved it revs fine and went for a quick spin drives ok...i opened the oil cap looked inside its a little gunky...would that be a concern????
