  3. Interesting thread. I've had the ~$165 reg sitting in my shopping basket on Nengun (along with afew other things) just waiting till purchase whilst i've been looking into these regs. I've seen some high powered GTR's with the $165 item yet some low-mid powered GTS-t's with the $360ish reg. I'd be very interested in Nengun's reply.
  4. I still think $1,950 is quite a high price for a hi-flow turbo even though it is a straight bolt-on and is the major thing making me look at a HKS/Garret kit.
  5. Was a good run. With some better front suspension and new tyres it'd be a great drive. I have nfi what it was that I hit (it has no idea what it was hit by either, I smacked it) but their is zero damage so that's the main thing.

  10. EVL_33: With only 212rwhp (158rwkw) im guessing you have just a cat-back exhaust and a pod filter or something? Rev210, im guessing it would be advisable to do the usual fmic, fuel pump etc (so basically a 180-200rwkw GTS-t) before adding the nitrous or would EVL be fine adding it right now?
  11. I take it you guys are turning off 'Bells Line Of Rd' at 'Darling Caus Rd' which then joins up at Mt Victoria (...and head back to Sydney thru Katoomba via the Great Western Highway) ? Thornleigh -> Richmond = 41km Richmond -> Mt Victoria = 72km Mt Victoria -> Penrith = 65km That's a solid 3+ hr cruise from/to Thornleigh just so you know. Don't expect to be back to Thornleigh until atleast 3am.
  12. I think you are confusing R33/S15 wheels with the old 300ZX rims.Also I just checked both (I have a set of both) and neither have any measurements stamped on them inside or out).
  13. Replace the SAFC with a PowerFC ($980) + Exhaust Cam Gear ($150) add in the installation plus a good tune ($600) and for ~$1700 you should see a nice round 200rwkw. Note; you may need a new fuel pump, fuel reg and z32 AFM (~$800).

  15. Don't forget that these cars are all 10yrs old now so engine condition is going to be playing a part in power output figures. It's not like they are in pristine condition after just being rolled off the showroom floor.

  19. I think the problem is that some people upgrade their turbo on only a half assed job. What I mean is they upgrade their turbo when they are only pushing ~175rwkw from an RB25DET when their is much more left before a larger turbo is needed. I've read many threads over the last 1-2yrs on here about people with aftermarket $2,000+ HKS turbo's only pushing 210-225rwkw on an RB25DET, that to me is an absolute waste of money, better off spending it on women. They are using an SAFC instead of PowerFC, no exhaust cam gear or cams, still on the std front/dump pipe etc etc and are complaining that a $2-3k turbo upgrade only bumped them to 220rwkw. If im going to fit an aftermarket turbo I want 50rwkw alone just from that turbo otherwise it's simply not worth it (cost vs power). I think if you aren't making up around 185-190rwkw on the standard turbo you simply aren't trying hard enough
