and thats just some from the first page
Well how about that, never noticed those bottom settings before
Guess you learn something everyday and here it is only 1:30am
I still think the threads should be moved as soon as they are "past" tho Or maybe rename it to /Future Events + /Past Events etc so that as soon as an Event is over (eg: Putty Rd) the discussion continues on in the /Past Events area
Don't really know coz i'm still learning that side of things.
I was just of the impression that a nice flat afr would represent a quality tune (amongst many other aspects of tuning of course). I've seen some dyno charts that are near perfectly horizontal and others that jump up n down like mountain ranges.
Live and learn I guess. . .
Excuse my ignorance but are the AFR's abit sorta howya goin ? ?
Roy: Your thing is farken quick.... from 5,000rpm onwards Would take me quite some time to get used to that sorta power. I'd need someone to tell me what to do coz i'd be too busy hanging onto the steering wheel
So basically if you are a rich team you can break the rules by illegally modifying your car and then just cough up the $$$$ when/if they catch you but keep your points.
Marcos Ambrose can lick my left nut.
186rwkw R33 GTS-t and get anywhere between 400-640km depending on my driving style. (The 640km stint was done on the way down to the Summernats and back so basically 85% highway driving)
I drive around on 7psi tho with a standard ECU (rich), big difference to 18psi
I work fulltime and after all my weekly expenses I have trouble with coming up with $50 spare so i'm thinking about chucking half on a CC and paying the other half cash and then just spending the next 2-3mths paying off the CC.
A new job offer came up today actually so I may not even have a Skyline by the time my Rego/Insurance is due
Yup I printed out Part 1 + 2 and read over them. Some of it makes sense, the rest is just dribble to me, im not tech-head when it comes to cars. I'd have to get someone to fit/tune it for me too
I've had around 30+ runs over the last 7mths all around 14.1-14.8sec and never broken a thing. Drive in, run, drive home and live another day I have however had quite a few Holdens destroy themselves right beside me on the first run of the nite hehehe.
Thx Jimbo & Flaps.
Would have been a great nite to run with not many spectators/competitors. Very cold outside too
Hopefully i'll be back at the track in about 3mths. Need to fix my coils + boost control before I go back otherwise i'm just wasting my time driving on 7psi
Interesting, R33vit is using the same system. He showed me it a few months back at WSID and I didn't take that much notice of it (just another boost controller to me). He was raving about it with the same sorta response you have just given. I wonder if it would be worth my while swapping my TurboXS dual stage bleed valve for this AutoSpeed.com setup hrmmm.Did you purchase the parts online or go to the Silverwater shop?
