  1. Braddon was quite lame last year, too many cops.
  2. Now from the other side of the fence..... Imagine driving a delivery truck, you have it stacked to the brim so full that you had to leave stuff behind, their are only a certain amount of hours in the day to get your work done and you have to be at certain places at certain times to pick stuff up whilst also delivering a few hundred other items along the way. You approach a "loading zone" clearly marked by both signs and painted white lines on the road (and also A-Frame signs) so that you can offload 20 tv's or a dozen drum and guitar sets weighing a few tonne. Now some old bitch in her X5 decides that she needs to go do her banking, then grab a coffee and a newspaper and that loading zone is empty and has easy access to everything so that is where they park for 30mins instead of 200m around the corner in a parking lot and walking it. Don't cry when a delivery truck parks so close to your front/rear bumper that you cant get out of that parking spot for an hour because it's probably me and I aint moving my truck until im finished. I've done this to many fools in my area and just as they are about to start abusing me they realise they are in the wrong and I just look at them and smile. On a lighter note, earlier in the year I seen an old bloke in his Nissan Patrol trying to squeeze into a parking spot (he was about 1m too long for the spot) so he decided to rest his bullbar up against the spare tyre on the back of the Nissan Patrol infront of him squeezing the tyre in, the funny thing was it was a police Nissan Patrol
  3. Holy shit im there !!
  4. Happy Birthday little man. If their were women included in that i'd be there but alas...
  5. My local gearbox mechanic had a box full of all different sizes and the size that matched up the same was from a Toyota Hilux.
  6. If you can find a local gearbox mechanic open ask for a toyota hilux bush, they fit perfectly and will cost you under $10.
  7. 1st->2nd and 3rd->4th maybe not faster but im sure 2nd->3rd and 4th->5th would be faster.
  8. Remove both your AFM's, clean them out (leave the mesh + wire intact) and spray contact cleaner in the plugs etc. I'd say you have a fault AFM.
  9. They will just get another 25kw, strip 25kg and better suspension and knock another second off the gtr times.
  10. Interior isnt the place to look when trying to reduce weight - its only made up of plastic, wiring and cloth material. (R32 GTR) Entire boot trimming = 3.4kg (the spare tyre weighs more than that) Rear bumper = 4kg (most of that is the reverse lights + 2 brackets to hold it on) Rear seats = 11.5kg (once again most of that is the metal bracing) Dash = 6.2kg (you need that so cant save any weight there) Wiring harness in the entire car would be lucky to be 15kg but that's also required. It's funny seeing people at the drags remove just their back seat to try and go faster (you aren't gonna go much faster removing 11.5kg) when instead they could remove the passenger seat + rear seat (~25kg) and it would be the same equivalent weight of stripping out the entire interior + boot trimmings. Weight savings need to be made from the engine, driveline and suspension by using cf where possible.
  11. 1 of the traders on this forum is selling it all as a kit with everything required for ~$200. I just can't locate the thread.
  12. Yup been using that for about 18mths now, the best tuner in au and the most knowledgable person on this forum both use and recommend it so that's good enough for me.
  13. I can't believe you drove in a straight line for more than 400m, must have been so tempting to kick it sideways... Need another RB30 gearbox?
  14. Are these the N1 skirts or just factory skirts?
  15. Yes I know.
  16. Pics of the starter motor plates please.
  17. Take your cardboard templates to your local metal fabricator and they will supply and cut the material for $25 with the proper tools. I was going to start my templates today until I realised my car is at my mechanics
  18. I'll be there the entire day if no rain.... although weather still doesnt look promising.
  19. That's fair enough, what I was getting at is many people do a "drive in drive out" and get the mechanic to organise the parts. You only have to look at difference in parts pricing between your local supplier and that of say Nengun and you could save anything up to 50% just in parts alone. Then you have labour charges, take your car to an import mechanic that eats and breathes skylines or take it to your local mechanic that you have known and trusted for 10yrs that also knows your engine and you could save another 50% just in labour charges. A good example of this is tuning costs around Sydney between the internationally recognised tuners vs the small time mechanic tuners.
  20. What was the rate for labour and did you supply the parts or did Boostworx supply them for you?
  21. Everytime they broadcast skaifey's he is usually swearing so crompto has to aplogise and flick to a different mic
  22. How many cars expected and what sorta time are we due there (and how long to drive there?)
